Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an intervertebral body fusion cage having improved fixation strength, and more particularly, to an interbody fusion cage having an improved fixation force, and more particularly to a cage body having a body part inserted into a space between neighboring vertebrae and a body part coupled to the body part, The cage used for vertebrae fixation is positioned on a previously planned position, and the cage is fixed by various causes before the fusion of the vertebrae bone occurs. The present invention relates to an interbody fusion cage solved by increasing the fixation force of the cage through the fixing portion.
The vertebrae, which form the longitudinal axis of the body, consist of seven cervical vertebra, twelve spines (Thoracic Vertebra), five lumbar vertebra, five sacrum, and four coccyx A vertebrae bone configured; A spinal disc, a disc-shaped cartilage structure that connects vertebrae and vertebrae; .
In general, the spinal discs absorb the load and shock of the body between the vertebrae, and serve as a buffer to disperse the shock like a spring. The vertebrae hold the vertebrae in such a way that they are not separated, and the vertebrae are separated To smooth the range of spinal articulation, and to smooth the movement of each of the spine bones.
The spinal disc of this person is usually composed of a fibrous ring and a nucleus pulposus. If the water in the water balloon is a nucleus, the fibrous ring corresponds to a rubber balloon containing water.
If degenerative disc disease is present, the movement of the fibrous ring or its ability to hold the nucleus is weakened, reducing the water content of the spinal disc and causing spinal stenosis, osteophyte formation, disc prolapse Lumbar Herniated Intervertebral Disc) and nerve root compression may occur.
As a method for treating such diseases associated with the spinal disc, a method of replacing the space between two adjacent vertebral bodies with a cage is used after removing the intervertebral disc of a damaged human body. This limits the movement of the vertebrae by fusing two adjacent vertebral bodies and restoring the original distance between the two adjacent vertebral bodies, the original height of the intervertebral disc, thereby treating the painful vertebrae.
The cage has an appropriate thickness and anatomical shape so as to restore the original height of the intervertebral disc. A hole is formed in the inner side to insert a bone graft to facilitate bone growth And has a mounting hole for mounting to the insertion tool.
Lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF), transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF), and anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF) were performed depending on the direction of insertion of the cage during surgery. ), And Lateral Interbody Fusion (DLIF). In the case of the cervical vertebrae, the cage is used as an anterior cervical interbody fusion (ACIF) or anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF).
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG. 1 is a view of a prior art cage assembly for interbody fusion, which is disclosed in Korean Patent Registration No. 10-1632908 (Jun. 2016.06). Referring to FIG. 1, a conventional cage 90 is formed with an inclined portion 91 for easy insertion, a
However, with this conventional cage 90, before the complete union between the adjacent vertebrae occurs, the cage 90, which was positioned in the correct position during the surgical procedure, Problems can arise. If the cage 90 is out of its original position, problems such as a decrease in fusion rate, nonunion, subsidence, and deviation due to initial fixation failures are caused, which necessitates reoperation due to a side effect. As well as bringing a lot of pain, it leads to a waste of time and cost due to additional surgery.
Therefore, in the related art, development of a new type of cage 90 that can securely fix the cage 90 between the vertebrae bones by a simple operation after the cage 90 is correctly positioned on the previously planned position, And the like.

The connection
The coupling
FIG. 8 is a view showing a fixed portion of the interbody fusion cage. FIG. Hereinafter, a description will be made with reference to FIG.
The fixing
The
The
The
The pushing
The pushing
The connecting
The locking
FIG. 12 is a side view of the interbody fusion cage, FIG. 13 is a view showing that the peg part is pushed outward of the body part due to the rearward movement of the pushing part, and FIG. 14 is a use state view of the present invention. 12 to 14, the intervertebral
