Abstract
하나의 픽처를 부호화하기 위한 최대 크기의 데이터 단위인 최대 부호화 단위로 분할하여, 최대 부호화 단위의 공간적 분할 횟수를 나타내는 심도에 따라 계층적으로 구성되는 심도별 부호화 단위들 중에서, 각각의 심도별 부호화 단위마다 부호화 결과를 출력할 부호화 심도의 부호화 단위를 독립적으로 결정하여, 최대 부호화 단위 내에서 동일 영역에서는 심도에 따라 계층적이고 다른 영역들에 대해서는 독립적인 부호화 심도의 부호화 단위들로 구성되는, 트리 구조에 따른 부호화 단위들을 결정하고, 최대 부호화 단위의 트리 구조에 따른 부호화 단위들을 기초로, 상기 최대 부호화 단위와 원본 픽처와의 오차를 최소화하기 위한 인루프 필터링을 수행하기 위한 필터링 단위를 결정하여, 상기 필터링 단위를 기초로 인루프 필터링을 수행하기 위한 부호화 단위에 기반한 인루프 필터링을 수반하는 비디오 부호화 방법이 개시된다.
