Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and a device for encoding/decoding an image, which improve inter prediction by providing improved inter prediction. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for decoding an image selects a recovered pixel region in an image to which a current block to be decoded belongs, induces a movement vector of the recovered pixel region based on the recovered pixel region and a reference image of the current block, and selects the induced movement vector as a movement vector of the current block.
