Abstract

According to the present invention, a sleep state detection method includes: a receiving step of receiving activity intensity data with an activity intensity value which is proportional to a body motion size for each time interval; a first classification step of classifying each time interval into one of a sleep state and an activity state based on the size of the activity intensity value; and a second classification step of reclassifying the corresponding time period to a state different from an existing state when the time duration of each state is equal to or less than a threshold value. Accordingly, the present invention can accurately detect the sleep state based on activity intensity data.
