Abstract
대규모 토러스 네트워크에서의 분산 스토리지 시스템을 위한 IP 자동 할당 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 IP 자동 할당 방법은 시스템을 구성하고 있는 복수개의 스토리지 노드들로부터 이웃 노드 탐색 정보를 획득하는 단계; 이웃 노드 탐색 정보를 조합하여 복수개의 스토리지 노드들에 대해 토러스(Torus)형 네트워크 토폴로지를 생성하는 단계; 복수개의 스토리지 노드들 각각에 대해서 토러스형 네트워크 토폴로지의 구조상에서의 위치를 알 수 있는 IP 정보를 생성하는 단계; 및 복수개의 스토리지 노드들 중 어느 하나의 기준 노드로 상기 IP 정보를 전달하여 복수개의 스토리지 노드들에게 IP 주소를 할당하는 단계를 포함한다.
