Abstract
The present invention relates to a magnetic cooling system including: at least one magnetic heat exchanger formed to allow a heat transfer fluid to pass therethrough and having a built-in magneto caloric material that undergoes heat exchange with the heat transfer fluid; a magnetic field applying unit for selectively applying a magnetic field to the magneto caloric material; and a low-temperature heat exchanger for guiding the cooled heat transfer fluid by discharging heat from the magneto caloric material, wherein the magnetic field applying unit includes a motor, a drive gear rotated by the motor, a driven gear engaged with the drive gear and disposed on one side of the magnetic heat exchanger, and a magnet coupled to one surface of the driven gear, and the magnet is eccentrical radially and outward from a center of the driven gear.
