Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus to inspect an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve and, more specifically, to an apparatus to inspect an EGR valve, which determines whether the EGR valve is bad or good. According to the present invention, the apparatus to inspect an EGR valve comprises: an industrial computer having EGR valve inspection software installed therein; a control unit to operate an internal motor of the EGR valve; a digital input/output card to connect the industrial computer with the control unit; a displacement sensor to measure a displacement of the EGR valve operated by the motor; and a DAQ card collecting data measured by the displacement sensor to transfer the measured data to the industrial computer. According to the present invention, the displacement of the EGR valve is measured by using the displacement sensor, thereby checking whether the manufactured EGR valve is bad or good.
