Description

METHOD FOR PAYMENT BETWEEN BUYER'S MOBILE DEVICE AND SELLER'S MOBILE DEVICE ON OFFLINE STORE

The present invention relates to a payment method in an offline store.

In general, in-store shops make payments using credit cards. The purchaser presents the credit card, and the seller reads the IC medium or the magnetic card information of the credit card using the payment terminal (for example, the POS terminal). Then, the payment terminal communicates with the credit card company and obtains approval for payment of the card. Recently, mobile payments are improving on this basic approach. By loading the credit card information on the smartphone, even if there is no real credit card, the payment is made only by the short distance communication of the payment terminal of the smartphone and the merchant. As prior arts of this type, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Samsung Pay, and the like are known.

However, this improved prior art is useless if the smartphone does not have credit card information. If the payment terminal of the merchant can not receive the credit card information from the seller's point of view, payment can not be performed. Likewise, if there is no credit card and no cash, buyers can not buy things. This situation seems to be rare. However, this can happen for foreign travelers who come from countries that use completely different payment systems.

For example, a Chinese company, Tencent, offers mobile easy payment services through Mobile Messenger WiChat TM . You can register your credit card in advance and use a password-like code that can use the credit card. It is possible to make mobile easy settlement by using the witchet code for payment in mobile messenger. However, mobile devices do not have credit card information. In this case, the payment terminal of the merchant has no way of recognizing the buyer's payment code. In the end, the problem is that Chinese travelers can not use the universal payment method in their country at all in Korea. Ali Pei and Union Peak used in Alibaba were analyzed as well.

It is necessary to develop a solution to the above problems on the assumption that the number of Chinese travelers will increase further or that mobile simple payment technology such as Tenpei will be developed and distributed in various countries including Korea. In the simplest case, a method may be adopted in which the settlement terminal of the seller store (that is, the credit terminal of the credit card company franchisee) recognizes the settlement code. However, in such a case, there arises a problem that all merchant terminals need to be replaced. Industrial use is inferior in terms of time and cost.

The inventor of the present invention has endeavored to solve such a problem in an industrial field, and finally the present invention has been completed.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a simple payment system and method which are convenient for both a buyer and a seller. Buyers no longer need to carry real cards like credit cards. The seller does not need to have a terminal for reading information from the magnetic card or the IC card. In the simple payment system of the present invention, a payment application for simple payment is installed in the seller mobile device, and a payment code is displayed in the buyer mobile device. The billing code replaces the buyer's credit card, and the billing application reads the billing code and proceeds with the settlement process.

It is also an object of the present invention to provide an off-line easy settlement solution for a buyer using a smartphone. Buyers do not need to install security applications for secure or secure payments. No certificate is required. Particularly, in the preferred embodiment, instead of installing a separate application for payment, various offline settlements can be performed by using a payment code generation function, which is an additional function included in the instant messenger installed in the smart phone of the user.

On the other hand, other unspecified purposes of the present invention will be further considered within the scope of the following detailed description and easily deduced from the effects thereof.

In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of the present invention is a credit card payment method between a buyer mobile and a seller mobile in an offline store,

The purchaser mobile device presents the billing code registered in advance on the mobile screen and recognizes the payment code of the purchaser mobile device without using the payment reader of the POS terminal of the merchant merchant,

(c) the buyer mobile device displaying the buyer's payment code;

(d) the merchant mobile device recognizing the payment code;

(e) the merchant mobile device transmits a settlement request including a payment code and a merchant code of a seller to a payment gateway (PG);

(f) verifying the validity of the payment request through the payment service server; And

(g) sending the payment approval to the merchant mobile device by the payment agent server.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the merchant mobile device comprises a payment application provided by a payment service server; And

And the merchant mobile device authenticates the payment service server and receives the merchant code.

In a preferred embodiment, the step of displaying the billing code of the present invention

The purchaser mobile device being a smartphone executing an application and requesting the payment service server to generate a payment code;

Generating a payment code by the payment service server and transmitting the payment code to the buyer mobile device; And

And displaying the payment code received on the screen of the smartphone.

In a preferred embodiment, the step of recognizing the payment code of the present invention comprises the steps of photographing the payment code using a camera having a built-in seller mobile device as a smartphone; And

And reading the information recorded in the billing code taken by the code recognition module of the payment application installed in the seller mobile device to recognize the payment code.

In a preferred embodiment, the step of inputting the goods information of the present invention comprises: recognizing a discount coupon displayed on the purchaser's mobile device; And

And the merchant mobile device displaying the final price reflecting the discount coupon to the payment application.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the purchaser mobile device and the seller mobile device are installed in a payment application, and may be any one of a smart phone, a smart pad, a tablet, and a wearable device.

In order to achieve the above object, a second aspect of the present invention provides a settlement service server providing a simple settlement service;

A smartphone of a buyer who executes a payment application provided by the payment service server to request the payment service server to generate a payment code and displays the payment code generated;

A smartphone of a seller installed with a payment application provided by the payment service server and requesting payment approval using the payment code and the merchant code of the seller; And

And a payment gateway (PG) for receiving the payment approval request and approving payment through authentication,

The settlement service server provides the settlement code to the smartphone of the buyer, gives the merchant code to the smartphone of the seller, verifies the validity of the settlement request including the settlement code and the merchant code, and returns it to the settlement agency server .

According to the present invention, the present invention provides a convenient payment method and system that is convenient for both a buyer and a seller. Buyers do not need to present credit cards, and sellers can sell goods or services without using a magnetic card reader like a credit card.

Buyers do not need to install various security and authentication applications and it is convenient because they do not need to manage public certificates. Furthermore, in the preferred embodiment, the present invention can be implemented as an add-on function in an instant messenger application which is popularly used in a smart phone, and therefore is very simple.

The seller does not need to newly install a new POS terminal and it is convenient, and the cost can be saved because a new terminal device according to the new payment method is not installed. For example, in order to introduce a simple payment system using NFC, a seller has to install a new terminal in addition to a conventional POS terminal, but the present invention does not require a new terminal. Even the present invention is very convenient because it enables easy payment through a seller's smartphone.
