Abstract
A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention receives a connection request signal from a wireless communication unit and the mobile terminal to wirelessly communicate with a display unit displaying a broadcast program or an initial screen and a mobile terminal executing an application, Wherein the display unit is paired with the mobile terminal based on the connection request signal and the connection response signal, and the control unit transmits the connection request signal to the mobile terminal, After the pairing, the mobile terminal can register an application running on the broadcast channel or the broadcast channel of the broadcast program.
Description
The present invention relates to a display device.
Digital TV services using wired or wireless communication networks are becoming popular. The digital TV service can provide various services that can not be provided by the existing analog broadcasting service.
For example, in the case of IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), a smart TV service, which is a kind of digital TV service, a bidirectionality is provided so that a user can actively select a type of viewing program and a viewing time. IPTV and smart TV services can provide various additional services such as Internet search, home shopping, online games and the like based on the bidirectionality.
In addition, recently, a display device such as a TV is connected to a mobile terminal such as a smart phone, and a function of interlocking with a mobile terminal, such as displaying an image output from the mobile terminal as it is, can be provided.
However, in the past, the display device has a function of displaying the image output from the mobile terminal as it is, and thus the application installed in the connected mobile terminal can not be actively utilized.
An object of the present invention is to enable an application installed in a mobile terminal to be registered in a content displayed by a display device to actively utilize the application of the mobile terminal.
According to various embodiments of the present invention, the user can actively utilize the application of the mobile terminal by registering the application installed in the mobile terminal in the content displayed by the display device.
Also, the user can utilize the application installed in the mobile terminal by interworking with the broadcasting channel or the broadcasting program only by tagging the mobile terminal to the display device.
