Description
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a lens, and more particularly, to a method of manufacturing a lens having a colored layer and a lens manufactured thereby.
A technique for calibrating color (color) discrimination power available at present is to provide colored lenses, i.e., sunglasses, individually for the eyes of the patient. Calibration lenses of different colors aim to provide calibration for the observer, which is not visually appealing.
In order to further improve this apparent problem, U.S. Patent No. 6,089,712 discloses a method of coloring a central portion of a lens so that necessary color corrections can be made for each eye, coating the outer surface of the lens with a mirror- So that a colored color is not seen when viewed. This technique described in the above-mentioned U.S. patent provides the necessary color correction.
However, there are some cosmetically undesirable or somewhat impractical aspects because the lens has a mirror-reflective surface. Because the mirror surface reflects light at a very high rate, such glasses provide too dark an image to the wearer. In certain situations, for example, wearing a reflective eyeglass in an office or in an area where there is not enough light may be ineffective and even unsuitable.
In the field of ophthalmology, by providing a lens that selectively filters incident light in the visible region of the spectrum, e.g., from about 650 nm (red region) to 475 nm (blue region), particularly short It has been found that the light coming through the lens is modified to affect the way it is processed. Lenses are being manufactured for patients suffering from color blindness, which are colored individually for the patient's visual characteristics. With this corrective lens, the patient can acquire the optical discrimination power and can accurately recognize the color and solve many symptoms of dyslexia.
In particular, the 1.74 colored lens having a refractive index of 1.74 is a lens which can not be colored using a coloring dye due to the nature of the material (MR-174, MCI Co., Ltd., Japan) It is urgent to enable the effect of the colored lenses on the lenses having such characteristics.
