Description
The present invention relates to a safety valve for a gas torch, and more particularly, to a safety valve for a new gas torch, which prevents a case where the gas torch is detached from the gas torch separately and can reliably perform a safety function.
Both gas torches for cutting metal and welding torches for welding metal are supplied with combustion gases. As the combustion gas, a gas having a high ignitability, acetylene or LPG is used. Acetylene and LPG are explosive gases that are supplied with a small amount of torch together with oxygen to generate a flame, and the metal is cut or welded while the metal is heated by the flame. The gas torch is used for cutting, heat treating, melting or welding a workpiece made of a metal material. For this work, a gas torch is supplied with a gas and an oxygen control valve, Often, careless handling of the operator often causes leakage of gas and oxygen due to unintentional opening of the gas or oxygen control valve.
