Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a pigging system, and more particularly, to an ultrasonic pigging system and method for performing internal cleaning of various pipelines by using ultrasonic waves and confirming the position of the pigments with a vibration sensor.
In general, pigs have been developed for the purpose of removing scale attached to the inside of a pipe and the foreign matter contained in the inside of the pipe, that is, for cleaning the pipe. Therefore, pigs have been mainly used for maintenance of existing pipes.
Recently, however, pigg has been widely used not only for cleaning existing pipes but also for cleaning work before use of new pipes. In addition, it is now also used for on-line pigging systems where piggies are simply removed from the cleaning role and coated on the inner wall of the pipe, or simultaneously transport different types of fluids through a single pipe. In addition, intelligent pigs equipped with advanced computer equipment in large pigs can perform complicated exploration work such as corrosion degree and thickness of piping as well as monitoring the overall condition of the piping. Diagnosis, and so on. Therefore, in piping facilities for gas pipes, oil pipelines, and other fluids, pigs are now recognized as essential components for the maintenance of piping.
On the other hand, the pipework is used to stop the piping for its own use and to be used only for cleaning, or in the course of using the piping for its own use. In the case of the former, off-line pigging pigging, and the latter is called on-line pigging. A typical example of on-line pigging is a technique of transferring various kinds of fluids from pigments to one another in a state where they are separated from each other by using pigs. It produces various kinds of fluids having different compositions, such as a lubricant factory, The online piggybacking method is crucial when it is necessary to transfer them to a single piping.
However, in the case of the prior art, there is a problem that the deposited layer is not removed cleanly or the operation is stopped for removing the deposit layer, and there is a problem that it is difficult to detect the position of the pig.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in order to solve the problems of the related art as described above, and an object of the present invention is to provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, And a method thereof.
In order to achieve the above object, the ultrasonic pigging system according to the technical idea of the present invention comprises a pig for generating ultrasound to clean a pipeline; And a vibration measuring unit for measuring the position and direction of the pig.
Here, the pig is selected in consideration of the state and process of the object to be cleaned, and the direction of the ultrasonic wave can be adjusted. The vibration measuring unit measures the vibration due to the ultrasonic waves generated from the pig, And the characteristic of the vibration wave is analyzed to predict the state of the pipeline.
Meanwhile, the ultrasonic pigging method of the present invention includes the steps of: generating ultrasonic waves to clean the pipeline; Measuring vibration of ultrasonic waves generated in the pig; Detecting a position and a direction of the pig based on the vibration of the ultrasonic wave; And a step of predicting the state of the pipeline by grasping the characteristics of the vibration wave.
The ultrasonic pigging system and method according to the present invention can perform internal cleaning of various pipelines using ultrasonic waves, and can easily confirm the position of the pig.
