Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
In general, circuit breakers are devices that automatically shut down the circuit to prevent damage from overloading or short circuits in the electrical circuit.
Among the circuit breakers, an air circuit breaker (ACB) disconnects the movable contact from the stationary contactor when a large current flows due to a failure in a line somewhere in the line, and an arc is generated at this time. Is blown off with compressed air.
The circuit breaker is formed of a cradle in which a fixed contact is formed and a body in which a movable contact is installed, and the terminal of the cradle and the terminals of the body are electrically connected to each other while the body is drawn into the cradle.
At this time, an operation handle such as a wrench is fastened to the power connection means provided on the body for pulling or pulling the body from the cradle, and the operation handle is rotated to move the body.
However, there is a problem that a user can easily pull out the body by inserting an operation handle into the power connection means, and a safety accident may occur due to an instantaneous short circuit breaker.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a circuit breaker which is designed to solve the above-mentioned problems and which can prevent the operation handle from being inserted into the power connection means for pulling in or out the body.
In order to accomplish the above object, a circuit breaker according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a circuit breaker disposed on a body having a first terminal, and a cradle having a second terminal contacting the first terminal, ; An operation handle inserted in the power connection means and operating the power connection means to move the body; And locking means provided on the power connection means for blocking the operation handle from being inserted into the power connection means.
The power connection means includes a base frame coupled to the body; A screw coupled to the base frame so as to be rotatable and having a handle engagement hole formed at one end thereof to receive the operation handle; And a movable frame coupled to the screw and linearly moving in response to the rotational motion of the screw to generate power for moving the body.
Wherein the locking means includes a handle block formed with a handle insertion hole into which the manipulation handle is inserted, and disposed on a front side of one side of the screw to be slidably coupled to the base frame; And a movable member disposed on the base frame and slidably moving the handle block such that the handle insertion hole is aligned with the handle engagement hole.
The locking means includes an elastic member that applies an elastic force to one side of the handle block and the other side of which is coupled to the base frame to move the handle block to a position where the handle insertion hole does not coincide with the handle engagement hole. ; ≪ / RTI >
Furthermore, the locking means may include a stopper disposed at one end of the handle block in the base frame, and restricting movement of the handle block.
Wherein the stopper is engaged with the base frame so as to slide on the base frame, the groove portion and the protrusion are formed, and when the groove portion is positioned at one end of the handle block, the stopper allows the movement of the handle block, The movement of the handle block can be restrained.
The stopper may further include a stopper fixing member for fixing the stopper so that the stopper does not move in a state where the protrusion is located at one end of the handle block.
And an elastic member disposed between the stopper and the base frame to apply an elastic force so that the groove of the stopper is positioned at one end of the handle block.
According to the circuit breaker of the present invention, it is possible to prevent the operation handle from being inserted into the power connecting means for moving the body, thereby preventing the unintentional body from being drawn out, thereby preventing the safety accident.
