Abstract

The present invention relates to a new apple varieties, specifically, apple varieties, which are avocotylated azo varieties having a milk white color, a sugar content of 14 brix or more and an average weight of 400 g or more, .
The new variety of apple varieties of the present invention is expected to contribute to the increase of income of apple cultivating farmer because it has high quality of fruit with high size and high sugar content and can be stably maintained through silent breeding through grafting. In addition, these high-quality apples have a great advantage in production efficiency because a large number of apples are opened. In addition, it is expected that the present invention can significantly contribute to the development of the fruit industry of Korea because it has considerable competitiveness for apple cultivars produced not only in domestic but also overseas.

Description

A new variety of apple, SON HONG}

More particularly, the present invention relates to a new varieties of apple varieties, in which the flesh of the magenta apple tree is milky white, the sweetness degree is 14 brix or more, and the average weight of the azo mutant is 400 g or more .

The apple (Scientific name: Malus domestica Borkh.) Is the most famous fruit enjoyed not only by our country but also by the world. Apples of various varieties are being produced globally, and apples of Fuji and Hongo varieties are mainly produced in Korea.

In Korea, there is a tendency that apples of fuji cultivars tend to be cultivated recently, so that cultivars are too simplified and excessive competition is formed between apple farms. To solve this problem, it is advisable to induce farmers to cultivate different kinds of apples. There is a way to diversify varieties by introducing the varieties developed in foreign countries. In addition, in order for apples produced in Korea to be competitive in the apple market in the world, it is necessary to develop new varieties that grow well in Korea's climate and have high quality.

Accordingly, the present inventor has made intensive researches in order to develop a new apple variety which can grow uniformly in a climate of our country and produce a high quality apple uniformly through asexual reproduction. As a result, it is possible to produce an apple with high quality I was able to develop a new apple variety.

○ The ground color of the fruit flesh is greenish-yellow, the pigment color hue is bright red, and the shape is partial foreground coloring.

○ The hardness of the fruit pulp is softer than the middle, the pulp is milky white, and the shape of the fruit chamber is closed.

○ The flowering time is in the middle of April and the fruit maturing period varies between the years, but between September and October.

<Characteristics to distinguish from control varieties (Hongro)>

The new variety of apple variant plants of the present invention can be completed by detoxifying viruses of azo mutants derived from magenta as described above. As the conventional method of virus detoxification, there are known methods such as heat treatment, chemical treatment, and growth point tissue culture, and it is preferable to use the heat treatment method. Heat treatment is known to be hot water treatment and high temperature treatment. However, the treatment of hot water treatment is advantageous in a short time, but the treatment temperature is difficult to control and the treated plant tissue is easily damaged by penetration of hot water. Therefore, it is preferable to use a high-temperature treatment method. The high-temperature treatment method is a method in which infected plants are placed in a temperature-controlled room and grown for a certain period of time. In the case of the present invention, virus decontamination can be carried out by growing at about 38 ° C for 7 days.

Example 1. Acquisition of azo mutant of Ja-Hong

By 2013, we confirmed the characteristics, uniformity, and stability of the parameters by proliferation and fruit production. The new cultivar thus identified was named "Son Hong". Sonhong has the following characteristics.

Major characteristics of Sonhong

○ Woody succulent is strong, the branch is a type of stretch, the number is open, and the dormant dormant (upper half of the branch) is less.

○ The thickness of the first-born dormitory (the diameter of the middle part) is about 5.9 ㎝, the length of the navel is about 3.7 ㎝, and the carpenter is 4.6 ㎝.

○ The flowering flower buds are white, the flowers are medium in size, and the petals overlap each other.

○ Leaf posture is horizontal, leaf length is about 7.3㎝, leaf width is about 5.9㎝, leaf length / width ratio is medium.

○ The leaves are bright green, and the edge of the leaves (upper half) is dull serrated.

○ The petiole length is about 2.4㎝, and petiole is less anthocyanin color.

○ The size of the fruit is about 400g, the overgrowth is about 9.6㎝, the width is about 9.8㎝, and the ratio of excess / width is large.

○ The overgrowth of fruit has a round shape, the score is about 1.8㎝, and the degree of crown shape is about medium.

○ The size of the calyx of the fruit is about 5.5㎝, and calyx length is medium.

○ The sieve and the depth of the fruit are about 1.7 ㎝, and the sieve and the width are about 8.2 ㎝.

○ The thickness of the fruit stem is about 3.0 ㎝, and the length of the stem is about 2.3 ㎝.

○ The fruit depth is about 2.0 ㎝, and the width of the glider is about 8.8 ㎝.

○ There is no excess of fruit and noodles, and the smoothness of the surface is medium.

○ The ground color of the fruiting hull is yellow, and the area of the perianth coloring is very wide.
