Description
The present invention relates to a superconducting cable. More particularly, the present invention relates to a superconducting cable capable of minimizing external heat penetration due to conduction of spacers provided on a vacuum for heat insulation.
The superconducting wire has a large power transmission capability even at a low voltage since the electric resistance converges near zero at a constant temperature.
In order to form and maintain a cryogenic environment, a superconducting cable having such a superconducting wire uses a method of cooling using a coolant such as nitrogen and / or an adiabatic method of forming a vacuum layer.
Such a superconducting cable generally includes a superconducting conductor layer composed of superconducting wires for power transmission, and a superconducting shielding layer for shielding electromagnetic waves induced by the superconducting conductor layer. The superconducting shield layer is formed of an expensive superconducting wire as well as the superconducting conductor layer.
That is, the electromagnetic wave induced by the power transmitted from the superconducting conductor layer can be shielded through the superconducting shielding layer.
The BSCCO first-generation superconducting wire can be manufactured by a relatively simple machining method. However, due to the crystal orientation characteristics of BSCCO (Bi-2223, Bi-2212) superconducting wire, the critical current density Jc at 77 K, the 100,000 limit in improving the a / cm 2 or more, and difficult to because of high cis substance Ag price of the wire is at cost configured to lower the performance-to-price, in recent years the production and use of the first generation of superconducting tape were reduced.
On the other hand, the second-generation superconducting wire is a coated conductor in which oxide films are deposited in layers on a metal substrate.
The second generation superconducting wire of YBCO or REBCO system has a high critical current characteristic in the magnetic field and a much higher tensile current density than the first generation BSCCO wire, so it can replace the first generation high temperature superconducting wire from the early 1990s Various fabrication processes have been actively developed with the attention as a next generation superconducting wire.
In order to use superconducting system's advantage that superconductor's resistance converges to zero at cryogenic temperature and can transmit a large amount of current even at relatively low voltage, superconducting cable The cryogenic environment of the superconductor should be ensured.
Therefore, in order to form a cryogenic temperature, which is a superconducting condition of a superconductor, a superconducting cable has a superconducting cable in which a liquid coolant flows through a cooling channel to the outside of a core portion and further a vacuum is formed outside the cooling channel, Can be maintained.
A method of forming a vacuum in a superconducting cable includes securing a space for forming a vacuum and providing a plurality of spacers in the space to physically prevent the inner and outer surfaces of the space from being in contact with each other, A method of evacuating the spacing space may be used.
The plurality of spacers provided to maintain the spacing space may be dispersed along the circumference of the spacing space outside the cooling section where the cooling flow path is provided.
Such a spacer can physically form a spacing space to form a vacuum, but the amount of heat penetration due to heat conduction through the spacer itself is not so small.
8 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional superconducting cable in a state in which it is installed in a horizontal direction. The conventional superconducting cable includes a superconducting cable including a former 110, a
The superconducting cable shown in Fig. 8 can be generally installed in the ground or in the horizontal direction in the underground. 8, the cross-sectional shape of the superconducting cable in the state where the superconducting cable is installed in the horizontal direction is determined by the load of the
The inner surface of the
In addition, when the superconducting cable is horizontally installed, heat invasion by conduction may inevitably be generated through a spacer disposed at the lower portion as shown in FIG.
Especially, when the
Since the
Experimental results show that the amount of heat penetration due to conduction through the spacer is considerably greater than that due to other pathways.
Therefore, in order to reduce the heat penetration amount of such a conventional superconducting cable, it is urgent to reduce the heat penetration through the spacers provided in the vacuum.

The superconducting cable includes at least one superconducting conductor layer (130) including a former (110), a plurality of superconducting wires arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the former (110) so as to surround the former, Wherein at least one superconducting shield layer comprises a plurality of superconducting wires arranged in the longitudinal direction of the former 110 so as to surround the insulating
The components of the superconducting cable are summarized as follows. The former 110 functions as a frame for forming a shape while providing a place for mounting a flat, flat and long superconducting wire around the former 110, and can be a path through which a fault current flows. The former 110 may have a shape obtained by compressing a plurality of copper (Cu)
Specifically, the former 110 is basically formed into a round cylindrical or pipe shape, and serves as a frame for raising the flat, long superconducting wire. The diameter of the former 110 is determined to be as close to a circular shape as possible when the superconducting wire is placed on the former 110 between the superconducting wires without considering the width of the superconducting wire.
1 and 2, the former 110 may have a hollow shape, and the former 110 serves as a frame for raising the superconducting wire, and at the same time, And each of the
Depending on the capacity of the fault current, the cross-sectional area of the conductor, such as copper, constituting the strand can be determined. In the case of high voltage, the strand of copper can be compressed into a circular shape to form a stranded shape.
The surface of the former 110 is inevitably convex because the
Between the
Also, as shown in FIG. 1, the
The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 shows a total of two
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the
The superconducting wires constituting each of the
The inner
The inner
상기 절연지는 크라프트지나 PPLP(Polypropylene Laminated Paper)가 주로 사용된다. Kraft paper or PPLP (Polypropylene Laminated Paper) is mainly used as the insulating paper. PPLP insulating paper is used for superconducting cable among various insulation materials considering the ease of winding and the dielectric strength.
The outer
The current flowing through the shielding layer composed of the second generation superconducting wire may be designed to be about 95% of the current flowing through the superconducting conductor layer, thereby minimizing the leakage magnetic field.
1 and 2, the smoothing layer and the semiconductive layer are formed of a single layer of the same material, but it is also possible to use various sublayers Can be added.
The cooling channel provided in the
An
The bending performance and the rigidity can be improved as compared with the case where the metal pipe is formed in a smooth shape by the corrugation bending structure.
Since the
In addition, the outer surface of the
The number of layers of the
The
The
The superconducting cable according to the present invention is wound such that a plurality of intersections are generated in the process of crossing the spacers outside the
The superconducting cable according to the present invention may have a plurality of spacers provided in the
When the spacers are composed of a plurality of layers, the winding pitch of the spacers constituting each layer, the winding angle of the spacers constituting each layer, the winding direction, and the like can be variously changed. A method of forming a plurality of intersections between spacers stacked in a multilayer by varying the winding pitch, the winding direction, and the winding direction of the spacer can minimize the heat invasion from the outside.
In the case where the winding pitch (or winding angle) of the spacer is different, even if the winding direction is different, a plurality of intersections can be formed in the multilayered spacers, and when the winding directions of the spacers are different, ), The spacers stacked in the plural layers may be formed with a plurality of intersection points.
In the embodiment shown in Figs. 1 to 3, an example in which the spacer is composed of two layers is shown, but when a spacer having a special structure described above with reference to Fig. 4 is applied, It is possible.
The superconducting cable according to the present invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 has two layers of spacers. The superconducting cable according to the present invention shown in Figs. 1 to 3 shows an example in which the spacer is composed of two layers, in which the spacers constituting each layer are wound in a first direction and in a second direction different from the first direction However, even if the spacers are constituted by three or more layers, the spacers which are wound on the respective layers are wound so as to be opposite to the winding directions of the spacers of the adjacent layers so that the intersections C are formed at regular intervals in the longitudinal direction of the cable .
Figs. 2 and 3 show a radial direction and a longitudinal direction sectional view in a state where the superconducting cable shown in Fig. 1 is installed in a horizontal direction. Here, when the superconducting cable is installed in the horizontal direction, as shown in the enlarged view of FIG. 2 or FIG. 3, the
The heat penetration by the conduction method from the
In this case, it can be understood that the heat penetration Q1, the heat penetration Q2, and the heat penetration Q3 eventually generate heat transfer resistance when the contact area of each boundary region is small. Since the superconducting cable according to the present invention has a plurality of spacers in the
Specifically, assuming that the boundary region between the
Therefore, in order to generate heat penetration from the outside of the normal temperature to the core portion of the low temperature, the heat penetration Q3, the heat penetration Q2, and the heat penetration Q1 must be sequentially generated in the boundary regions of the superconducting cable according to the present invention, can see.
On the other hand, in the case of the conventional superconducting cable, since the spacer is composed of a single layer and only two boundary regions exist from the outer metal tube toward the heat insulating portion, the heat penetration (heat transfer) resistance is relatively small as compared with the superconducting cable according to the present invention have.
That is, the heat intrusion Q3, the thermal intrusion Q2, and the thermal intrusion Q1 decrease in size as they pass through the respective boundary regions, so that it can be understood that the relationship of thermal intrusion Q3> thermal intrusion Q2> thermal intrusion Q1 is formed.

The plurality of
Also, the diameters of the
Such a diameter may be smaller than the diameter of the spacer applied to the conventional superconducting cable.
2, the contact area in the boundary region S between the
As described above, in the conventional superconducting cable shown in Fig. 8, a spacer composed of a single layer is spirally wound around the outside of the heat insulating portion, and the spacer and the heat insulating portion are horizontally contacted with each other Contact) state, so that the boundary region has an area of a size of a long band in the longitudinal direction of the cable and can not be neglected, so that heat intrusion can be generated entirely in the region of the long band. However, As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the superconducting cable has a small contact area between the first and
It is also contemplated that the heat penetration amount of the superconducting cable according to the present invention is extremely small compared to the conventional superconducting cable when it is further taken into account that the heat penetration amount decreases as the boundary region passes through each boundary region. can do.
In the case where the
The winding pitch of each
Experimentally, the pitch of the first spacer is less than 800 millimeters and the pitch of the second spacer is less than 500 millimeters (mm) in relation to the pitch of the helical windings of the
Further, when the spacers constituting each layer are composed of a plurality of layers, it has been concluded that the pitch of the outer-wound spacers is preferably smaller, which may mean that the spacers wound on the outside are wound more tightly Thereby reducing the risk of contact between the
Another reason why the external heat penetration of the superconducting cable according to the present invention is reduced is that the number of contacts to which the
That is, when the superconducting cable is horizontally installed, it means that heat penetration through the
However, in the case where the conventional single-layer spacer is provided, since the insulating
Therefore, it can be concluded that the superconducting cable according to the present invention can reduce the heat penetration area and reduce the heat penetration resistance at the same time by using a method of simply winding the superposed double layers of the spacers.
The material of the
The
That is, fluorinated polyethylene which can be applied to the
The fluorinated polyethylene which satisfies the above conditions is a type of fluororesin which forms a highly stable compound due to a strong chemical bond between fluorine and carbon, and thus has almost complete chemical inertness, heat resistance, non-tackiness, excellent insulation stability, . Since the fluorinated polyethylene satisfying the above conditions has a certain degree of flexibility, it can spirally wrap the
Sectional shapes of the
An outer jacket-shaped
4 shows a cross-sectional view of another embodiment of a superconducting cable according to the present invention.
In the embodiment described above with reference to Figs. 1 to 3, the reason for configuring the spacers in a multi-layer structure is to make point contact between the spacers and to narrow the heat transfer path or increase the path length in the process of passing through the boundary regions of the respective spacers.
Therefore, even when the
That is, even if heat penetration through the
As shown in Fig. 4, even if the spacer is composed of a single layer, the
4 may be formed as a single layer as shown in FIG. 4, but it is also within the scope of the present invention that the spacer is formed to cross at least two layers. The possibility of heat penetration from the outside by the structure can be further reduced.

The description with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 will be omitted. 5 and 6 illustrate a three-phase superconducting cable in which the number of
5 and 6, unlike the embodiment shown in Figs. 1 and 2, a superconducting conductor layer is provided in each of the core portions and two shield layers are provided in Fig. 6 This is an example to which the illustrations can be applied.
The three-phase superconducting cable may have a structure in which the
5 and 6, the spacers may be provided in multiple layers on the inner and
In the case of the three-phase superconducting cable according to the present invention shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, since there are three core portions, the cooling portion and the vacuum portion are shared, The heat penetration due to the thermal conduction of the heat sink can be minimized is the same as the embodiment shown in Figs. 1 and 2 described above.
FIG. 7 is a perspective view of a superconducting cable according to another embodiment of the present invention.
The superconducting cable according to the present invention comprises a former 110, a
The embodiments shown in Figs. 1 to 6 are embodiments in which the spacers provided in the evanescent field are composed of two layers. However, even if the superconducting cable according to the present invention is not directly formed in a multilayer structure in a state where the spacer is in contact, the
As described above, it is confirmed that when the spacers having a smaller diameter than the conventional spacers are disposed at different positions, thermal intrusion by heat conduction can be minimized as in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 6.
