Abstract

A method for outputting a sound volume comprises the following steps of: comparing hand gesture image data for sensing the shape of a hand gesture by a smart TV having an image sensing function with hand gesture level image data stored in an application; adjusting the sound volume intensity using level interval data in which the level interval of each sound volume is segmented by a level identification code for determining a level interval of a sound volume and a time for sensing an image; and transmitting level data (the level identification code and the level interval data) to a sound volume adjusting program of a smart TV system.
