Description
More particularly, the present invention relates to a dishwashing appliance and a control method thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to a dishwashing appliance and a method of controlling the same, And a control method thereof.
Generally, a dishwasher is a household appliance that cleans food waste buried on a surface of a dish by high-pressure rinse water sprayed from an injection nozzle.
In this dishwasher, a heater device for heating the rinse water to a high temperature is mounted, and the rinse water is heated to the inside of the heater device.
That is, when the dishwasher operation is on, the temperature of the water is detected using the temperature sensor, and when the temperature of the water drops below a preset temperature (N ° C), the heater is driven to raise the temperature of the water. At this time, it is confirmed whether the rinsing necessary for the cleaning operation or the water in the washing tank is maintained at a certain level, and then the heater device is driven only when the water level is higher than a certain level to raise the temperature of the washing water or the rinsing water.
As the heater device is driven, when the predetermined cleaning or rinsing possible temperature is reached, the heater device is turned off and a dishwashing operation is performed.
In such a dishwasher, when the temperature of the dishwasher falls below a predetermined temperature, the heater device is operated to raise the temperature of the water. At this time, the heater device is overheated.
Conventionally, in order to prevent overheating of such a heater device, an earth leakage breaker is provided outside the heater device. When the heater device is overheated by a predetermined temperature or higher, the earth leakage breaker is operated to cut off the power supply to the heater device.
However, the provision of the earth leakage breaker on the outside of the heater device has a disadvantage of increasing the size of the dishwasher.
In addition, when the earth leakage breaker is broken, there is a problem that a heater may be damaged or durability may be reduced as well as a fire may occur due to the operation of the heater device.
When the step S308 is performed, the load sensing unit determines whether a current supplied to the heater heating line is sensed (S310). That is, the load sensing unit determines whether or not a current supplied to the heater heating line is sensed to check whether the power supplied to the heater heating line is shut off.
(S312). If it is determined in step S310 that the current is sensed, the load sensing unit determines that it is a disconnection and outputs a power off signal to the power driver (S312).
(S314).Then, the power source driving unit is turned off in response to the power source OFF signal to cut off the power source supplied to the heater heating line (S314).
If the current is not sensed as a result of the determination in step S310, the power source driver performs step S314.

The method according to claim 1,
Wherein the load sensing unit determines that the current is not detected when the heater is turned on and outputs a power off signal to the power driving unit.
(a) 히터열선에 전원이 공급된 경우, 온도퓨즈는 상기 히터열선이 기 설정된 온도 이상 가열되었는지의 여부를 판단하는 단계;
A method for controlling a heater device for washing dishes,
(a) when power is supplied to the heater hot wire, the thermal fuse determines whether the heater hot wire is heated to a predetermined temperature or more;
(b) if the temperature fuse is heated to a predetermined temperature or more as a result of the determination, outputting a power off signal for shutting off the power supplied to the heater hot line to the power driver; And
(c) the power source driving unit is turned off in response to the power-off signal to shut off the power supplied to the heater heating line
And a controller for controlling the heater unit.
상기 (b)단계가 수행되면, 상기 부하 감지부는 상기 히터열선으로 공급되는 전류가 감지되는지의 여부를 판단하는 단계;
5. The method of claim 4,
If the step (b) is performed, the load sensing unit may determine whether a current supplied to the heater heating line is sensed or not.
Further comprising the step of: if the current is sensed as a result of the determination, determining that the load sensing unit is a disconnection and outputting a power-off signal to the power driver.
