Abstract
A female connector according to the present invention is a female connector for inserting and fastening a male connector having a plurality of terminals at one end thereof inserted therein, the female connector comprising: a housing into which one end of the male connector is inserted inward; A plurality of fins in contact with the male connector in such a manner that one end is disposed and fixed inside the housing and the height of the cross section is larger than the width of the cross section; And a pair of supports provided at both ends of the housing and supporting both ends of the male connector.
According to the female connector according to the present invention, since the pin has a shape in which the height of the cross section is larger than the width of the cross section, the bending strength is high and the rigidity is high, so that deformation of the pin can be prevented.
Further, the protruding portion of the pin is brought into contact with the terminal of the male connector, so that the contact holding force is high, whereby the conductivity can be increased.
Description
The present invention relates to a connector, and more particularly, to a female connector in which a male connector is fastened to the inside and a rigidity of a pin contacting a male connector is reinforced.
Generally, a connector is a part used for electrically connecting an electric device or an electric wire, and is configured to be detachable. Usually, the female connector and the male connector are formed as a pair, and the female connector and the male connector are electrically connected by fastening. The connecting portion of such fastening is provided with a connecting terminal made of a material such as brass, phosphor bronze or stainless steel, and the pin is connected to the connecting terminal to be electrically connected. Therefore, the connection part to be fastened is important, and the connector is actively developed so as to increase the connecting force and the coupling with the connection part.
Korean Patent Laid-Open No. 10-2014-0008879 discloses a technique relating to the above-described conventional connector.
In order to reduce the overall thickness of the connector, the conventional connector includes a horizontal pin having a width larger than the height of the end surface. However, when the male connector is in contact with the male connector, the male connector has a weak stiffness, so that the male connector is flexibly deformed rearward. In addition, since the bending strength of the pin is low, there is a problem that defective contact occurs. This results in inconvenience for long-term use.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been devised in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a female connector employing a structure of a pin having an improved rigidity so as to increase the bending strength, prevent deformation, It has its purpose.
In order to achieve the above object, a female connector according to the present invention is a female connector for inserting and fastening a male connector having a plurality of terminals at one end to the inside, wherein one end of the male connector is inserted inward housing; A plurality of fins in contact with the male connector in such a manner that one end is disposed and fixed inside the housing and the height of the section is larger than the width of the section; And a pair of supports provided at both ends of the housing and supporting both ends of the male connector.
Wherein the pins include a plurality of upper fins disposed at an inner upper end of the housing and a plurality of lower fins disposed at an inner lower end of the housing and spaced apart from the upper fins to be vertically symmetric with the upper fins, The male connector can be fastened between the upper pin and the lower pin.
Further, the upper pin and the lower pin may have protrusions at the front side toward the center of the housing in the height direction, and the terminals of the male connector may contact the protrusions.
It is also preferable that the support portion is located between the upper fins and the lower fins and has one end projecting toward the center of the housing. Further, the support portion is formed of an elastic piece provided with an elastic force, and can support the male connector by its elastic force.
According to the female connector according to the present invention, the pin has a shape in which the height of the cross section is larger than the width of the cross section, so that the bending strength is high and the rigidity is high, so that deformation of the pin can be prevented.
Further, the protruding portion of the pin is brought into contact with the terminal of the male connector, so that the contact holding force is high, whereby the conductivity can be increased.
