Description
Material handling systems typically place a plurality of conveyor belts for conveying materials generally at a great distance and suits for seating the materials on the conveyor belt to be carried by these belts.
Suits are used when the material has to be moved between conveyors of different heights or between conveyors moving in different directions. The suits are guide materials for properly positioning on the next conveyor belt or flat plates disposed at different angles for conveying. At the point of material loading, the impact is high on the conveyor, so shock buffers are provided in this area to minimize the impact of the impact.
Two types of wear are observed in the material handling system.
Impact Wear: Because the particles are not spherical, they have protruding edges that cut out the liner during impact. This is called impact wear.
Abrasive wear: Sliding abrasion is a function of pressure, friction coefficient and sliding speed. Abrasive wear is high in soft materials.
Wear in a chute: When unprotected falls, the chute plates are worn for a period of time due to the continuous movement of the material over them. This wear eventually tears the plate, creating holes in the chute surface, and drawing leaks to discard the material. Under these conditions, the entire suits must be replaced, resulting in long-term production discontinuation.
To prevent this, liners are used. The liners are small rectangular blocks used as sacrificial covers for the chute plate. These are mechanically fastened to the inner surface of the chute body.
The following effects can be obtained from the Suit Liner.
1) Allows easy and quick repair and replacement of sliding surfaces.
2) It serves as a means of correcting the performance of improper suit.
3) Avoid abrasive wear of chute.
4) It reduces impact wear, noise, dust and material deterioration.
5) Facilitate smooth flow.
6) Avoid accumulation of material.
7) Prevent chemical reaction or corrosion of product surface and product.
Ideal suitliners should resist shock and wear demand, deterioration and fines.
Typically, rubber liners have been used in suits of mass-material handling systems to treat rocky and rugged heavy materials such as in the mining and steel industries.
Rubber liners are generally a good solution for these applications, but they suffer from several drawbacks. Crack formation occurs several times on the rubber surface when the rubber liner is installed in areas such as the high impact area of the chute, i.e., where moving materials have initial impact on the chute wall. This is the result of high impact wear. Thus, there has been a long need for the development of a lining system for a chute wall that can withstand high impact loads.

The
Fig. 1 shows the back surface of the
The liner has two surfaces. As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
The
The
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the formation of a plurality of bubbles has the formation of
Figure 3 shows an embodiment of a liner unit in which a plurality of
Several possible non-limiting shapes of bubbles are shown in Figures 4a, 4b, 5b and 6a. The
This bubble-pocket arrangement may also be provided on the
As shown in Figures 3, 4b, 5b and 6b, the
In another preferred embodiment shown in Fig. 7, the liner base comprises only a
The impact-relieving action is provided solely by the pockets formed between the back wall of the liner base and the wall of the chute. It should be noted that the
In another preferred embodiment shown in Fig. 8, the frame may have an integrally formed crossbeam 9 capable of withstanding a high impact load on the liner base in operation. The height of the cross beam 9 is equal to the height of the
9 is an isometric view of an arrangement of a plurality of liner units detachably coupled to a chute wall. A cross sectional area view of the arrangement of FIG. 9 is shown in FIG. As can be seen from Fig. 10, a plurality of bolts 8 serving as fastening means are used to fasten the plurality of liner units on the chute wall, and there is a clear gap between the
