Description
More particularly, the present invention relates to a paint for a color steel plate capable of performing both a priming process and a top coating process, and a method for manufacturing a color steel plate using the same.
Colored steel sheets are widely used for construction materials such as household appliances such as washing machine outer plates and refrigerators, refrigeration facilities, food processing facilities, and the like.
The color steel sheet is produced by a method of sequentially forming a pretreatment layer, a subbing layer and a top layer on the surface of a steel sheet, and usually includes a pigment exhibiting a target color on the upper layer.
The pretreatment layer is a pretreatment agent containing chromium or a pretreatment agent containing no chromium.
The undercoat layer is mainly formed for improving the adhesion and corrosion resistance, and the oil-based undercoat is mainly used.
The top layer is formed for corrosion resistance and color development, and oily or water-based paints containing pigments are used.
Background art related to the present invention is a colored steel sheet for household appliances disclosed in Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2007-0025223 (published on Mar. 3, 2007) and a method for manufacturing the same.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a paint for a color steel plate which can perform both the priming and topping functions and which is capable of producing a single coated color steel sheet.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a one-coat color steel sheet using the above paint.
In order to accomplish the above object, the paint for a color steel plate according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises 1 to 10 parts by weight of a chromium-based anticorrosive pigment, 1 to 10 parts by weight of an adhesion promoter, To 50 parts by weight, and the polyester resin is a polyester resin containing an aromatic substituent.
At this time, the chromium-free rust-preventive pigment may include an aluminum compound or a calcium compound.
Further, the adhesion promoting agent may include an ether compound or a phosphoric acid compound.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing a color steel sheet, comprising: forming a base steel sheet on which 1 to 10 parts by weight of a chromium-based anticorrosive pigment, 1 to 10 parts by weight of an adhesion promoter And 20 to 50 parts by weight of an organic solvent is applied and dried to form a coating film.

The paint for a color steel sheet according to the present invention is capable of excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance and color development, and can perform both of the conventional lower and upper performance functions.
Accordingly, the method of manufacturing a color steel sheet according to the present invention has a feature that a coating film can be formed by one coating, thereby simplifying the manufacturing process and reducing manufacturing cost.
Advantages and features of the present invention and methods of achieving them will become apparent with reference to the embodiments described in detail below. It should be understood, however, that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, but is capable of many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, To fully disclose the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art, and the invention is only defined by the scope of the claims. Like reference numerals refer to like elements throughout the specification.
Hereinafter, a paint for a color steel sheet according to the present invention and a method for manufacturing a color steel sheet using the same will be described in detail.
Coating for color steel plate
The paint for a color steel plate according to the present invention comprises 1 to 10 parts by weight of a chromium-based anticorrosive pigment, 1 to 10 parts by weight of an adhesion promoter, and 20 to 50 parts by weight of an organic solvent, based on 100 parts by weight of a polyester resin.
Hereinafter, the role and content of the components included in the paint for a color steel sheet according to the present invention will be described.
Polyester resin
The polyester resin is a main component of the coating film. The polyester resin is excellent in corrosion resistance and adhesion.
However, the pure polyester resin itself has somewhat poor chemical resistance. In the present invention, polyester resin containing an aromatic substituent is used. The aromatic substituent may be an aryl group having about 6 to 20 carbon atoms, an aryloxy group, an arylsulfonyl group, an aryloxyalkyl group, an aryloxyalkylamino group, or the like. These aromatic substituents were included in the polyester chain, and as a result, they exhibited enhanced chemical resistance.
The polyester resin containing an aromatic substituent may be prepared by adding a monomer containing an aromatic substituent to the monomers for producing the polyester resin. The monomer containing an aromatic substituent may be present in an amount of 1 to 20% by weight based on the total weight of the monomers for producing the polyester, but is not limited thereto.
Non-chrome (non-Cr) anti-corrosive pigment
The non-chrome-based anticorrosive pigment contributes to color development while improving the rust-preventive property of the coating film. Such chromium-free rust-preventive pigments may be aluminum compounds such as aluminum oxide, calcium compounds such as calcium oxide, and preferably calcium alumina.
The chromium-free rust-preventive pigment is preferably contained in an amount of 1 to 10 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the polyester resin. When the content of the chromium-based rust-preventive pigment is less than 1 part by weight, the effect is insufficient. On the other hand, if the content of the chromium-based rust-preventive pigment exceeds 10 parts by weight, the adhesion of the coating film may be deteriorated.
In addition to the non-chrome-based anti-corrosive pigment, a general pigment such as titanium oxide (TiO2) and iron oxide (Fe2O3) may be added in an amount of about 10 to 50 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the polyester resin.
Adhesion promoter
The adhesion promoter contributes to improving the adhesion of the coating film.
The adhesion-promoting agent serving as such may include an ether compound or a phosphoric acid compound. Examples of the ether compound include lysosine diglycidyl ether, neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether, 1,6-hexanediol diglycidyl ether, trimethylol propane polyglycidyl ether, and glycerol polyglycidyl ether. . The phosphoric acid compound may be ammonium phosphate, ammonium hydrogen phosphate, manganese hydrogen phosphate, or the like.
Organic solvent
The organic solvent is used for securing the coating property through viscosity control, and one or more kinds of solvents such as alcohol solvents such as isopropyl alcohol and ketone solvents such as cyclohexanone may be used.
The organic solvent is preferably contained in an amount of 20 to 50 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the polyester resin. When the content of the organic solvent is out of the above range, the viscosity is excessively high or low, which is not preferable from the viewpoint of coatability or productivity.
Color steel plate manufacturing method
The method for manufacturing a color steel sheet according to the present invention includes the step of applying the above paint on a base steel sheet followed by drying. In the conventional case, both the process of forming the undercoat layer and the process of forming the overcoat layer are all required. However, in the case of the paint of the present invention, both the undercoat and the overcoat functions are performed through excellent adhesion, rust resistance, corrosion resistance, As a matter of course, one layer can serve as a sublayer and a top layer.
The base steel sheet may be a steel sheet having a thickness of about 0.2 to 1 mm.
The base steel sheet may be a hot-rolled steel sheet or a cold-rolled steel sheet, and a plating layer containing zinc may be formed on the surface thereof in order to improve corrosion resistance. These steel sheets may be hot-dip galvanized steel sheets (GI steel sheets), galvannealed galvanized steel sheets (GA steel sheets), electrogalvanized steel sheets (EG steel sheets), and the like.
The base steel sheet is preferably pre-treated with a pretreatment agent, preferably a chromium-based pretreatment agent, from the viewpoints of adhesion and corrosion resistance.
It is preferable that the coating film formed from the color steel plate paint is formed to a thickness of 10-12 탆. When the thickness of the coating film is less than 10 mu m, corrosion resistance and color development may be a problem. On the contrary, when the thickness of the coating film is more than 12 mu m, adhesion with the coating material may decrease with an increase in the amount of the coating material used.
Also, it is preferable that drying is performed by a method of hot air drying at 210 to 240 ° C for 22 to 27 seconds. If the drying temperature is less than 210 占 폚 or less than 22 seconds, the solvent of the undercoat may not completely volatilize. Conversely, if the drying exceeds 240 ° C or exceeds 27 seconds, the adhesion may be deteriorated.
Example
Hereinafter, the configuration and operation of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to preferred embodiments of the present invention. It is to be understood, however, that the same is by way of illustration and example only and is not to be construed in a limiting sense.
