Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a marine riser vortex induced damping and generating device and a ship or an ocean structure including the same, and more particularly, to a marine riser vortex induced damping and generating device capable of damping vibrations of a riser, Or an offshore structure.
The drill rig is used to develop deep-sea oil resources.
The risers used for petroleum resource development are largely divided into petroleum resource production riser and drilling rizer.
Such a riser is subjected to a load at the seabed by the flow of seawater, and due to the load at the seabed, a vortex induced vibration (VIV) may be generated.
The VIV phenomenon described above can remarkably shorten the fatigue life of the riser, and is a factor to be considered in the designing stage of the riser.
Currently, devices that reduce the VIV of the riser have developed devices such as wing strake and faring to attach to the outer diameter of the riser.
An embodiment of the present invention is to provide a marine riser vortex-induced damping and generating device capable of reducing the VIV phenomenon of a riser and generating electricity by generating electricity, and a ship or an offshore structure including the same.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a piping system comprising: a pipeline-shaped riser unit disposed under the seabed from a hull; A generator rotor unit rotatably disposed in the riser unit; A plurality of blade units disposed in the generator rotor unit from the top to the bottom of the generator rotor unit and coupled to the generator rotor unit to rotate by the flow of seawater and to rotate the generator rotor unit; And a seawater generating unit provided to generate electricity by the rotational force of the generating rotor unit rotated by the blade unit.
Wherein the blade unit comprises: a spiral blade disposed in a spiral shape and spaced apart from the generating rotor unit to be rotated by the flow of seawater, the spiral blade surrounding the generating rotor unit; And a horizontal blade coupling the spiral blade to the generating rotor unit.
The helical blades may be disposed at 180 degree intervals with respect to the generating rotor unit.
The power generating rotor unit may be arranged in a plurality of units along the riser unit.
The seawater generating unit includes: a power generating module for performing power generation; And a gear module coupled to the generator rotor unit to transfer rotational force of the generator rotor unit to the generator module.
Wherein the seawater generating unit includes: a permanent magnet disposed in one of the riser unit and the generating rotor unit; And a generator coil disposed in the other of the riser unit and the generator rotor unit, the generator coil being disposed corresponding to the permanent magnet to produce electricity.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a ship or an offshore structure capable of performing power generation by the marine riser vortex-induced damping and generating device.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide a marine riser vortex-induced damping and generating device capable of reducing the VIV phenomenon of a riser as well as generating electricity by generating electricity, and a ship or an offshore structure including the same .
1 is a schematic diagram of a marine riser vortex-induced damping and generating device according to an embodiment of the present invention.
2 is a schematic diagram of a marine riser vortex-induced damping and generating device according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Various embodiments of the present invention will now be described by way of specific embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings. The differences between the embodiments of the present invention described below are to be understood as mutually exclusive. That is, the specific shapes, structures, and characteristics described may be embodied in other embodiments in accordance with one embodiment without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention, It is to be understood that the arrangements may be altered, where like reference numerals refer to like or similar features throughout the several views, and length and area, thickness, and the like may be exaggerated for convenience.
