However, the inventor of the present invention has proposed a structure in which a FRP and a steel material are combined with each other to provide a lightweight yet strong and high durability, Has been developed and widely used.
The joint between the wall of the valve chamber and the pipe is completely bonded and sealed at the initial stage of construction, but may be deteriorated by continuous vibration transmitted by the fluid passing through the pipe during use. Particularly, as the piping becomes larger, such deterioration phenomenon tends to occur more frequently and accelerate. Therefore, it is urgently required to develop a technique capable of easily and reliably reinforcing the joint between the valve chamber wall and the piping.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a valve chamber in which a connection portion between a pipeline and a valve chamber is reinforced to be used semi-permanently, thereby reinforcing a pipe joint suitable for a large pipeline.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a valve chamber provided in a submerged pipe, the valve chamber having an inner space including a connection portion between the pipe and the valve chamber, A reinforcing space forming part enclosing the outer surface and the side wall of the valve chamber and a reinforcing material filled in the inner space of the reinforcing space forming part to reinforce the connection part between the pipe and the valve chamber.
