Abstract

The present invention relates to a remote control apparatus to control one or more electronic apparatuses and a control method thereof. The remote control apparatus includes a processing unit and a touchscreen display. The processing unit displays one or more menu icons on the touchscreen display in accordance to the activation of the remote control apparatus. Each menu icon is connected to the electronic apparatuses respectively. The processing unit senses the selection of the menu icon and dynamically displays one or more operation icons of the selected menu icon. One or more operation icons are connected to each control function of the corresponding electronic apparatus. The processing unit transmits a control signal to the corresponding electronic apparatus and senses the selection of the operation icon. The control signal executes the electronic apparatus to execute the control function connected to the selected operation icon.
