Abstract
본 발명의 특징은 컬러필터층의 적색(R) 컬러필터패턴을 Red 254안료와 Red 177안료가 50:50의 비율로 혼합된 적색(R)안료로 형성하고, 녹색(G) 컬러필터패턴을 Green 58 안료와 Yellow 138가 80:20의 비율로 혼합된 녹색(G)안료로 형성하며, 청색(B) 컬러필터패턴을 Blue 15:6 안료와 Violet Dye 안료가 87:13의 비율로 혼합된 청색(B)안료로 형성하고, 광원인 LED를 청색LED칩(미도시)과 나이트라이드(nitride) 타입의 옐로우형광체와 레드형광체가 혼합된 Y_nitride + R 형광체(미도시)로 형성함으로써, 고휘도를 구현할 수 있으며, 액정표시장치의 색재현율 또한 향상시킬 수 있다.
이로 인하여, HDTV(High Definition Television)의 색재현율을 나타낸 색좌표계인 BT.709의 색좌표를 만족하게 된다.

Claims (11)
- 박막트랜지스터가 구비된 어레이기판과 Red 254안료와 Red 177안료로 이루어지는 적색안료를 통해 형성된 적색 컬러필터패턴과, Green 58 안료와 Yellow 138 안료로 이루어지는 녹색안료를 통해 형성된 녹색 컬러필터패턴과, Blue 15:6 안료와 Violet Dye 안료로 이루어지는 청색안료를 통해 형성된 청색 컬러필터패턴이 형성된 컬러필터기판을 포함하는 액정패널과;
상기 액정패널의 하부에 위치하는 반사판과, 상기 반사판 상에 배열되며, 청색LED칩과 나이트라이드(nitride) 타입의 옐로우(Yellow)형광체와 레드(Red)형광체를 포함하는 LED와, 상기 LED 상부에 위치하는 광학시트로 이루어지는 백라이트 유닛
을 포함하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 적색안료는 50:50의 비율로 혼합되며, 상기 녹색안료는 80:20의 비율로 혼합되며, 상기 청색안료는 87:13의 비율로 혼합된 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 나이트라이드(nitride) 타입의 옐로우(Yellow)형광체는 YAG;Ce(Y3Al5O12:Ce3+)로 이루어지는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 레드형광체는 CaSiN2:Eu2+ 또는 Sr(Ba)Si5N8:Eu2+로 이루어지는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 LED로부터 방광되는 백색광은 그린(Green)컬러의 메인피크(main peak)가 525 ~ 545nm 범위 내에 위치하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 LED로부터 발광되는 백색광은 0.291 ~ 0.294의 x축 색좌표와, 0.293 ~ 0.296의 y축 색좌표를 갖는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 적색 컬러필터패턴을 투과한 광은 0.645 ~ 0.663의 x축 색좌표와, 0.331 ~ 0.335의 y축 색좌표를 갖는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 녹색 컬러필터패턴을 투과한 광은 0.277 ~ 0.282의 x축 색좌표와, 0.563 ~ 0.567의 y축 색좌표를 갖는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 청색 컬러필터패턴을 투과한 광은 0.137 ~ 0.140의 x축 색좌표와, 0.088 ~ 0.095의 y축 색좌표를 갖는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 광학시트 하부에 도광판을 더욱 포함하며, 상기 LED는 상기 도광판의 입광부와 대면하도록 위치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 어레이기판의 내측면에는,
서로 교차하여 화소영역을 정의하는 게이트 및 데이터배선과, 이들 두 배선과 연결되는 상기 박막트랜지스터와, 상기 박막트랜지스터와 연결된 화소전극이 형성되며,
상기 컬러필터기판의 내측면에는,
상기 게이트 및 데이터배선과 박막트랜지스터에 대응되는 블랙매트릭스와, 상기 컬러필터패턴과 상기 블랙매트릭스를 덮는 공통전극이 형성된 액정표시장치.
