Various types of components are used in mechanical devices such as automobiles, aircraft, and industrial robots. The parts of the ring-shaped band-shaped sheet metal can be used for connection between the parts. The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a band-shaped sheet metal into a ring-shaped part. Conventionally, there have been various means for roll-forming sheet metal. Registered Patent No. 0445612, Registered Utility Model No. 0144455, Registered Patent No. 0183638, and Registration No. 0809442 disclose various roll forming apparatuses.
An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a ring-shaped part by processing a band-shaped sheet metal.
