Abstract
In the present invention, by tagging the content provided by the DLNA server (tagging), additional metadata is retrieved and provided to the user. According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for providing content metadata of an AV system for a vehicle, the method including: receiving content and metadata from a DLNA server device; Confirming whether the received metadata includes all predetermined required metadata; Tagging the received content if the received metadata does not include all of the predetermined necessary metadata; Retrieving metadata of the content tagged through the Internet; And displaying the retrieved metadata.
Description
The present invention relates to a method of providing content metadata of a vehicular AV system and a media streaming service method using the same.
With the advent of smartphones, interest in sharing various media contents such as TVs, computers, NAS, cameras, etc., is increasing.
In response to these demands, an organization that establishes standards for the sharing of media content (DLNA) has been established and is in operation. / Photo / video) can be shared and played.
1 shows an example of a system for sharing media using the DLNA standard, and FIG. 2 shows a DLNA device classification.
As shown in FIG. 1, DLNA media sharing allows various devices in the same IP band to share contents with each other through a network rather than a physical connection through a network such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
DLNA devices are largely divided into Home Network Devices (HND) and Mobile Handheld Devices (MHD), and Home Interoperability Devices (MIU, M-NCF) are added for interconnecting HND and MHD.
Among them, Digital Media Server (DMS) is a device that holds the actual content to be shared. It keeps the contents and distributes / transmits the contents of contents when connected to the network so that other devices can use them.
The Digital Media Controller (DMC) finds a list of content distributed by the Media Server and connects it with other renderers that can execute it. The Digital Media Controller basically establishes a connection between the Media Server and the Media Renderer and controls the actions related to content playback.
Digital Media Renderer (DMR) is a device that is connected to Media Server by Media Controller and can play contents from Media Server.
Digital Media Player (DMP) is a device that can find a content list distributed by a media server, select content, and play it.
Among Mobile Handheld Devices, Mobile Digital Media Server (M-DMS), Mobile Digital Media Controller (M-DMC) and Mobile Digital Media Player (M-DMP) are mobile devices that have the same functions as DMS, DMC and DMP of HND, respectively. .
3 is a diagram illustrating media streaming using a DLNA supporting device.
As shown in FIG. 3, the media is streamed from the DLNA-capable media server device (DMS / M-DMS) 100 to the DLNA-supported media player device (DMP / M-DMP) 200 through the DLNA-capable media player device. Can play media.
However, when using a streaming service as shown in FIG. 3, metadata of content provided by a DLNA server (DMS / M-DMS) is limited according to the DLNA server. That is, in the case of music, in general, information such as album art, genre album name, singer name, composer name, etc. are not provided in addition to song title information.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in the technical background as described above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a content metadata providing method and a media streaming service method using the same in a vehicular AV system.
In order to solve such a problem, the present invention provides a user by searching for additional metadata by tagging content provided by the DLNA server.
That is, the method for providing content metadata in a vehicular AV system according to an aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving content and metadata from a DLNA server device; Confirming whether the received metadata includes all predetermined required metadata; Tagging the received content if the received metadata does not include all of the predetermined necessary metadata; Retrieving metadata of the content tagged through the Internet; And displaying the retrieved metadata.
The searching of the metadata may be performed by accessing the Internet using a 3G / LTE modem of the vehicle AV system or the DLNA support device.
According to another aspect of the present invention, a media streaming service method of an in-vehicle AV system includes: receiving content and metadata from a DLNA server device; Playing the received content; Displaying the received metadata; Confirming whether the received metadata includes all predetermined required metadata; Tagging the received content if the received metadata does not include all of the predetermined necessary metadata; Retrieving metadata of the content tagged through the Internet; And displaying the retrieved metadata.
According to the present invention, since additional metadata is searched and provided to the user in addition to the limited metadata provided by the DLNA server, the user can conveniently use the multimedia streaming service.

Advantages and features of the present invention and methods for achieving them will be apparent with reference to the embodiments described below in detail with the accompanying drawings. The present invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art. Is provided to fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art, and the invention is only defined by the scope of the claims. It is to be understood that the terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. In the present specification, the singular form includes plural forms unless otherwise specified in the specification. It is noted that the terms "comprises" and / or "comprising" used in the specification are intended to be inclusive in a manner similar to the components, steps, operations, and / Or additions.

As shown in FIG. 6, when the DLNA function is executed (S610), the vehicle AV system receives metadata from the DLNA server device (S620).
Next, the vehicle AV system displays the received meta information at the same time as playing the content (S630).
If all the necessary meta information is present (YES in S640), it is sufficient to display the received meta information, so that no other operation is required.
On the contrary, if there is no necessary meta information (NO in S640), tagging of the content currently being played is performed (S650).
Next, the metadata of the tagged content is retrieved from the Internet through 3G / LTE (S660). In this case, the method of connecting to the Internet may use a 3G / LTE modem of a vehicle AV system or a 3G / LTE modem of a DLNA server device as in the above-described two embodiments.
When the search for the metadata is completed (YES in S670), the searched meta information is displayed (S680).
As described through the above embodiments, in the present invention, since additional metadata is searched and provided to the user in addition to the limited metadata provided by the DLNA server, the user may conveniently use the multimedia streaming service.
While the invention has been described in terms of the preferred embodiments, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments, but, on the contrary, is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to embrace all such modifications and variations as fall within the true spirit of the invention.
