Abstract
Description
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a smart IR input device.
In general, home appliances such as TVs, monitors, and audio devices are provided with input devices for operating functions of the home appliances. In home appliances, a remote controller is usually provided to drive various functions of the home appliances at a distance away from the home appliance. Recently, an integrated remote controller is provided to control various home appliances with a single remote controller. To this end, the front panel of the home appliance is usually provided with an input device including a remote control receiver for receiving an infrared signal of the remote control, converting the signal into an electrical signal and transmitting it to the main CPU of the home appliance.
In addition, in general, the front panel of the home appliance is usually provided with an input device including a touch panel paneled with a plurality of touch sensors or touch sensors so that a user can easily drive or simply adjust various functions of the home appliance. A touch sensor IC for transferring a touch sensing signal applied from the touch sensor or the touch panel to the main CPU is provided.
As such, a remote control receiver, a touch sensor, or a touch sensor IC, which is usually provided on the front panel of a home appliance, requires various functions required for inputting or outputting respective input / output signals or an installation space for the same.
However, in recent years, since conventional household appliances tend to be slimmer, there is a problem that conventional input devices are not suitable for use in household appliances which have recently been slimmed.
One embodiment of the present invention is configured by integrating the IR sensor module for receiving the IR signal from the external remote controller and the touch sensor module for determining the signal detected in the touch pattern on the front panel of the home appliance, ultra-slim smart IR Provide an input device.
Smart IR input device according to an embodiment of the present invention, the IR sensor module for receiving an IR optical signal output from an external remote controller; And a touch sensor module having a touch pattern having a predetermined shape so as to receive a touch input signal by a user, wherein the touch pattern is formed to surround an outer surface of the IR sensor module and includes a plurality of circular shapes. It may be composed of a plurality of thermal sensor lines partitioning a sensor line and the plurality of circular sensor lines.
The IR sensor module may include an IR lens for receiving an IR optical signal emitted from an external remote controller; And an IR support body molded to have a lens hole on which the IR lens is mounted to support the IR lens.
The IR support body may be molded into a half dome shape.
The IR support body may be molded in a vertical cross-sectional shape with a trapezoidal shape.
The IR support body may be molded to have a vertical cross-sectional shape of a rectangular shape and an upper edge portion to have a round shape.
The IR support body and the touch pattern may be adhered to each other with a double-sided tape.
The touch sensor module may further include a touch sensor IC formed on an upper or lower surface of the PCB, and the touch sensor IC may be electrically connected through a flexible circuit board formed on an upper or lower surface of the PCB.
And a connector for transmitting an output signal from the IR sensor module and the touch sensor module to a main CPU mounted in a home appliance, wherein the IR sensor module is formed on the PCB and electrically connected to the connector through the PCB. The touch sensor module may be electrically connected to the connector through the flexible circuit board.
The outer diameter of the touch pattern may be formed of 6 to 12 pie.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a smart IR input device includes an IR sensor module molded in a half dome shape and a touch pattern formed in a half dome shape corresponding to the IR sensor module to surround the IR sensor module. By forming the touch sensor module integrated into the front panel of the home appliance, it is possible to ultra-slim, and further applicable to a variety of models of home appliances.
