Description

LED 등기구 ON/OFF를 통한 디밍 제어 시스템{LED Lighting ON/OFF Dimming Control System}     Dimming control system through LED luminaires ON / OFF

The present invention relates to a luminaire control device, and more particularly, to an apparatus for controlling a further failure prevention through a controller for establishing a dimming system only by ON / OFF control of two or more SMPS in the luminaire and detecting a failure of an LED module. will be.

Recently, low-carbon green growth is in the spotlight, and the demand for LED lighting is increasing as a light source that replaces existing conventional lighting. Unlike many conventional lights that have only ON / OFF functions, LED lighting has a variety of applications that adjust illumination, color temperature, and apply remote controls and sensors. LED lighting generally uses a switching mode power supply (SMPS) to drive the LED, and the LED uses a constant current circuit as a current control device. The constant current method is to supply a constant current to the LED module to the SMPS. It sets the current value using the number of devices and LEDs in the SMPS and controls to supply a constant current by feeding back the current value of the LED module when SMPS power is supplied. In general, the LED lighting SMPS has a large number of flyback circuits. Flyback method has high efficiency and low cost but low output, so high watt LED lighting products use two or more low watt SMPS or high watt SMPS.

The present invention corresponds to a product using two or more insulating type SMPS, and implements dimming without a separate dimming circuit to maintain a simple and constant lifetime of the LED. In addition, the protection circuit has the meaning of minimizing maintenance by protecting the LED module.

The present invention was devised to solve some of the problems occurring when replacing the conventional lighting from the LED lighting, the object is to implement a dimming more simply and to minimize the maintenance. As LED lighting develops and spreads rapidly, various applications need to be developed and solutions to be found. In addition, there is a constant demand for inexpensive and efficient products in the market. In this situation, it is a task of the present invention to simply implement a dimming system to reduce cost and increase efficiency, and to develop a protection circuit to minimize maintenance.

As a method for achieving the above object, the output (DC) of two or more insulation type SMPSs are connected in parallel to the LED module, and dimming is realized through ON / OFF of each SMPS external power supply. In the control, a method of detecting an electric current of the LED module to prevent an additional defect while preventing current draw on the normally operating LED module when the LED module is defective is used.

According to the present invention, the LED lifetime is constantly guaranteed through the same operation control rather than the LED control, and there is no separate dimming circuit, which is simple and inexpensive. In addition, it is easy to install and maintain as it uses existing tunnel structure.

When described in detail according to the drawings as a method for achieving the above object is as follows.

1 is a configuration diagram of the present invention. In FIG. 1, 500, 600 or more SMPSs use an insulation type SMPS, and the SMPS designated as 500 and the SMPS designated as first SMPS 600 are referred to as second SMPS.

The first SMPS and the second SMPS receive the external power of Fig. 1 100,200, respectively, and convert them into insulated constant current DC power and supply them to the LED module or LED lamp of 700,800.

The power of each SMPS is applied from an external power source of 100,200, respectively, and the operation of the first SMPS and the second SMPS is determined by 300/400 switch ON / OFF. 300,400 switch ON / OFF, that is, the quantity of SMPS operation determines the dimming control level, and general operation is performed in all SMPS operations as shown in FIG. This is a method using the constant current control of the SMPS, and the sum of the constant current setting values of the SMPSs that operate by connecting all the SMPS output parts, that is, the LED module connection parts in parallel, is applied to the LED module to operate the dimming control.

The output current value that meets the power consumption specifications of the product is divided by the constant current value of the first SMPS and the second SMPS, and the constant current setting value of each SMPS does not have to be the same. This is a setting value to adjust the dimming level when dimming control. However, the sum of SMPS total constant current setting should be the same as product output current specification.

In this way, dimming control is possible through external power ON / OFF, SMPS quantity, SMPS constant current setting value, and dimming level can be controlled by SMPS quantity and constant current value of each SMPS. That is, as shown in FIG. 2, when the power is applied only to the first SMPS, the LED module operates only with the first SMPS constant current setting value, and when the power is applied only to the second SMPS as shown in FIG. 3, the LED module operates only with the second SMPS constant current setting value. In the normal operation without dimming control, the first SMPS and the second SMPS are all powered.

Dimming level control is determined by the constant current setting value of each SMPS. The sum of the constant current setting values of all SMPSs should be the same as the product output current specification. For example, assuming 100% product output current specification and 2 SMPS quantities in the product, each SMPS constant current setting value is 10% / 90%, 20% / 80%, 30% / 70%, 40% / 60%, Dividing by 50% / 50% enables dimming control same as the dividing setting value, and when both SMPS are ON, the product will operate at 100% normal operation.

In the above control method, the problem is that when one or more LED modules are defective, current deflection occurs to the normally operating LED module due to the SMPS set to constant current, which causes additional failures. The device that can control this problem is the 900 LED Module bad Ddtect of FIG.

The following describes the control method of FIG. 1 900 LED Module Defect.

LED module failure Detect (900) is configured and operates as shown in FIG. The function of this controller is that if one or more LED modules fail in two or more LED modules connected in parallel, the applied current of this LED module is divided into one or more LED modules in normal operation. Then, overcurrent may be applied to the normally operating LED module, which may cause additional defects. In order to prevent this problem, when the LED module is defective, it detects the defect and sends a feedback signal to the SMPS. This controller controls the amount of current in the LED module to prevent overcurrent in the normal operation LED module. This function prevents the occurrence of additional defects in the event of a failure, thereby simplifying the maintenance.
