Abstract
Disclosed is a tactile information transmitting keyboard technology that intuitively delivers tactile information of a spatially separated keyboard device to intuitively convey a user's experience and input pattern.
Description
Keyboard Related Technologies
Remote presence means physically experiencing places that are spaced apart or virtual places. By connecting a computer to a remote location through a communication line, it is possible to interact in a virtual reality space in another place that is not physically present through communication.
Recently, according to the development of SNS, a variety of information is shared and transmitted in real time using a mobile device, and a virtual keyboard of a mobile device is most widely used as an information communication interface. As such, the keyboard is an effective tool for remote real-time textual communication that occurs in everyday life, ranging from conversing textual tools to combining consonants, vowels, and symbols, or expressing emotions using emoticons. Communication through non-verbal touch action, which takes a large part in communication, is limited.
There is a need for a method of delivering in real time various non-verbal touch actions generated from keyboard input actions.
It provides a technology that applies a method of delivering tactile information in real time through a keyboard.
An input pattern measuring unit for measuring a keyboard touch intensity of a user; A signal transmitter for transmitting the keyboard input pattern measured by the input pattern measurer to another user; The present invention provides a tactile information transmitting keyboard including a tactile expression unit expressing tactile information according to a signal transmission result from the signal transmission unit.
Increase Usability: Usability can be increased by acquiring in real time how users communicate textual information. In addition, it can be used in the form of emotional transmission to express various things. (e.g. different representations of the same text)
Applicable only by software: It is highly applicable because it can be implemented by software without hardware.
1 is a diagram illustrating keyboard input behavior.
The present invention relates to a tactile information transmitting keyboard that intuitively delivers tactile information of a keyboard device spaced apart from each other and intuitively delivers a user's experience and input pattern, comprising: an input pattern measuring unit for measuring a user's keyboard touch intensity; A signal transmitter for transmitting the keyboard input pattern measured by the input pattern measurer to another user; The present invention relates to a tactile information transmitting keyboard including a tactile expression unit expressing tactile information according to a signal transmission result from the signal transmission unit.
The keyboard is a digital communication medium that plays an effective role in the long-distance real-time text communication that occurs in everyday life, beyond the tools of text information input and delivery, to combine words and emoticons to express emotions. Programs that support remote real-time text communication, such as NateOn or MSN Messenger, help people who spend a lot of time in front of their computers communicate personally and accurately in real time while texting or using the Internet. However, text communication does not provide non-verbal information that voice, visual, and tactile information cannot give, and is limited only to emotional information that words, sentences, or styles can give. In order to secure this, many real-time messenger programs have been creating automatic emoticons according to various text combinations or combining symbols to create one facial expression and combining them with letters to convey various emotion information. However, in expressing facial expressions or automatic emoticons through symbol combinations, the emotions expressed through characters and emoticons that the user must input are limited for the actual user to express non-verbal gestures generated from face-to-face communication. When a user expresses an angry emotion, a punch or hitting a gesture is replaced with a symbol such as "(-)" or an angry face emoticon in a real-time text communication situation through a messenger program. Therefore, the communication through the non-verbal touch action that the actual user occupies a large part in the face-to-face communication is limited.
The information generated from the user's keyboard touch (e.g. touch intensity, time, speed, location) is communicated to other users in real time for a better user experience. For example, how quickly or slowly, strongly or weakly, carefully or inconsequently, they are copied, deleted, or erased to convey visually, aurally, and tactilely. In an embodiment, the intensity generated when the keyboard is touched may be stored as a value and transmitted to the counterpart in the form of vibration. In this case, the method for obtaining keyboard touch strength may be one of the following, but is not limited thereto. (e.g. Press time, Accelerator, Compass, Gyroscope, and etc.)
The user can understand in real time and intuitively how the user is typing and what emotions are through the intensity and pattern of vibrations transmitted from the other party.
