Description

Devices and methods for generating smart responses on mobile devices {APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING SMART REPLY IN A MOBILE DEVICE}

The present invention relates to a mobile device, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for generating a smart response in a mobile device.

Recently, mobile devices have been widely used by millions of people around the world for communication. Mobile devices are widely used to communicate voice and text data to each other. In particular, the mobile device allows the caller to contact the user of the mobile device at any location. However, there are one or more situations where the user may not be able to answer the caller's call. When the user encounters this situation, the caller does not recognize the reason associated with the failure to respond to the call origination by the user.

In general, when a user fails to answer a caller's call, the user's mobile device has sent a predetermined message through the mobile station to the caller's mobile device. However, these messages do not include the reason associated with the failure to answer the call.

In another example, the text message may be sent to the caller in response to the user having failed to respond to the caller's call origination. The sender may be identified using a Caller Line Identity (hereinafter referred to as CLI), and then the text message may be configured based on the CLI for transmission. Thus, this technique generates and sends a text message based on the caller, but does not provide a reason associated with the failure to respond to a call.

In another example, an automatic text message may be sent by the user to the sender of the multimedia message. In more detail, the multimedia messaging server stores the automatic text message and sends it to the mobile device (eg, mobile communication terminal) associated with the user upon receipt of the multimedia message. This automatic text message is sent based on the sender and priority of the multimedia message. However, the generated automatic text message does not include the reason associated with the failure to respond to the call.

Accordingly, the present invention proposes an apparatus and method for generating a smart response for notifying the caller of the reason associated with the failure of the response of the call origination by the user of the mobile device.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a device for generating a smart response in a mobile device, comprising: a user profile module for monitoring user profile information, a user profile database for storing the user profile information, and At least one sensor for determining a user environment of the mobile device, an inference engine for obtaining inference representing a state of the user of the mobile device based on the user environment and the user profile information, and a call origination based on the inference. And an inference-text generation module for generating a text message including a reason for the response failure.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention relates to a method for generating a smart response in a mobile device, wherein when a response to a call fails, at least one of user profile information and a user environment is analyzed. Obtain an inference indicating a state of the user of the mobile device based on profile information and the user environment, generate a text message including a reason for the failure of the call origination based on the inference, and send the text message to the sender. Characterized in that the transmission to the mobile device.

By generating and transmitting a smart response including a reason related to the failure of the response of the call by the user in the mobile device, the caller can accurately recognize the reason for the failure of the response of the call.

Embodiments of the invention described herein provide an apparatus and method for generating a smart response in a mobile device.

1 is a block diagram of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention. The communication system 100 includes one or more mobile devices, such as the first mobile device 105a and the second mobile device 105b. The communication system 100 includes a mobile service provider 110 and an electronic device 115.

Looking at each component, the first mobile device 105a and the second mobile device 105b may be utilized to establish voice and text communication between each other. In addition, the first mobile device 105a and the second mobile device 105b may establish communication with the electronic device 115. For example, the electronic device 115 may be a computer, a laptop, a mobile phone, a portable auxiliary terminal (PDA), a telecommunication device, or the like, but is not limited thereto.

And the mobile service provider 110 is used to establish communication between the first mobile device 105a and the second mobile device 105b. Here, the first moving device 105a and the second moving device 105b may be located at various places. The mobile service provider 110 then uses the hardware and software components necessary to establish communication with each other. In addition, the mobile service provider 110 may establish communication between the electronic device 115 and the mobile devices. At this time, one or more mobile service providers may be used to establish this communication. And the main function of the mobile service provider 110 is to route the caller's call to the correct recipient. The mobile service provider 110 also provides the ability to route the sender's text message or multimedia message (MMS) to the correct recipient.

For example, the user of the second mobile device 105b may initiate a telephone call to the user of the first mobile device 105a. If the user of the mobile device 105a fails to answer the call, the failure to respond to the call may be due to one or more situations where the first mobile device 105a is unable to answer the call. Can be. As a result, the user of the second mobile device 105b is not aware of the reason associated with the failure to respond to the call. In order for the user of the second mobile terminal 105b to recognize the reason for the failure of the call transmission, the text message including the reason for the failure of the call is transmitted by the first mobile device 105a to the second mobile device. May be sent to 105b. The text message generated by the first mobile device 105a is generated based on inference. Inference here refers to one or more situations in which the user of the first mobile device 105a fails to respond to a telephone call.

For example, the MMS may be generated by the first mobile device 105a based on inference. Here, the MMS is used for notifying the reason why the user of the first mobile device 105a fails to answer the telephone call of the second mobile device 105b.

A mobile device for generating a text message based on inference will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 2.

2 is a block diagram of a mobile device 200 generating a smart response according to an embodiment of the present invention. The mobile device 200 includes a user profile module 205, a user profile database 210, a plurality of environmental sensors 215, and an environment and user profile based inference (“EUPI”). Engine 220 and inference-text generation module 225. The components of the mobile device 200 are connected to communicate with each other through a communication interface.

Looking at each component, the user profile module 205 is used to monitor user profile information. This user profile module 205 may be included in the user's mobile device 200 to monitor user profile information. Alternatively, the user profile module 205 may be placed in a cloud network associated with the mobile device of the monitoring user. Here, the user profile information includes at least one user interaction. For example, user interaction may include the user not answering a call in a high noise area, the user not responding to a call while you are driving, the user not responding to a call while you are sleeping, but not limited to not answering the call after t 'has elapsed, the profile associated with the user's mobile device being in silent mode, and the like. The user profile information includes at least one user action. For example, the user's behavior may include phone numbers frequently sent by the user, types of text messages deleted by the user, types of text messages stored by the user, one or more call originations from various callers by the user. But may not be limited to, for example, a period of time to cease responding.

And the machine learning process can be utilized by the user profile module 205 to monitor user profile information. Artificial intelligence can also be used to monitor user profile information. The user may change the user profile information at regular intervals. Upon change, the user profile module 205 updates the changed user profile information.

The user profile database 210 stores user profile information. The user profile database 210 includes a memory for storing user profile information. The user profile database 210 can then be included in the user's mobile device for storage. Alternatively, the user profile database 210 may be included in a cloud network associated with the user's mobile device. The user profile information stored in the user profile database 210 is utilized to generate either a text message or an MMS that notifies the caller of the reason for the failure of the response to the telephone call by the user.

And a plurality of environmental sensors 215 are used to identify an environment associated with the user when the user fails to answer the caller's outgoing call. For example, the plurality of environmental sensors 215 may include, but are not limited to, noise sensors, lighting sensors, temperature sensors, motion sensors, pressure sensors, global position sensors, orientation sensors, acceleration sensors, smoke sensors, and the like. The plurality of environmental sensors 215 then identify at least one environmental condition associated with the user. For example, environmental conditions include, but are not limited to, changes in noise levels, changes in temperature conditions, speeds, and fractions of a day.

And a plurality of environmental sensors 215 may be included in the user's mobile device to determine an environment associated with the user during the failure of the user's response to the call.

The EUPI engine 220 is then used to obtain inferences indicating the reason associated with the failure of the caller to respond to the call. The inference obtained by the EUPI engine 220 represents the user situation during the failure of the response to the telephone call. The EUPI engine 220 collects environment and user profile information identified by the plurality of environmental sensors 215 to obtain inference.

For example, of the plurality of environmental sensors 215, the light sensor identifies the environmental condition as dark and the user profile database 210 indicates that the user did not answer the call after a predetermined period of time `t`. If the user profile information is stored, the EUPI engine 220 may collect the environmental condition and the user profile information identified by the light sensor, and may obtain the inference in the 'user sleep'. The obtained inference is then utilized to generate either a text message or an MMS to notify the caller of the reason for the failure of the response to the user's call origination.

And EUPI engine 220 may be included in the user's mobile device to obtain inference. Alternatively, EUPI engine 220 may be included in a cloud network associated with a user's mobile device to obtain inference.

Inference-text generation module 225 is then used to generate a text message based on the inference obtained by EUPI engine 220. Inference-text generation module 225 utilizes at least one template for generating a text message. Inference-text generation module 225 then stores the generated text message. For example, if inference is 'user sleeping', inference-text generation module 225 generates a text message as 'unable to answer a phone call while user sleeping'. Thus, the text message generated by the inference-text generation module 225 clearly notifies the caller of the reason associated with the failure of the response to the user's call origination.

For example, inference-text generation module 225 may be used to generate an MMS based on inference obtained by EUPI engine 220. The MMS generated by the inference-text generation module 225 may include one or more images that inform the caller of the reason associated with the failure of the user to answer the call.

Inference-text generation module 225 may then be included in the user's mobile device to generate either a text message or an MMS. Alternatively, the inference-text generation module 225 may reside in a cloud network associated with the user's mobile device to generate either a text message or an MMS.

For example, inference-text generation module 225 may be included in a mobile station associated with a user's mobile device for generating either a text message or an MMS.

Now, a method of generating a text message based on inference will be described with reference to FIG. 3.

3 is a flowchart for generating a smart response in a mobile device according to an embodiment of the present invention. In operation 310, the first mobile device 105a analyzes at least one of the user's user profile information and the user's environment, in response to the user failing to answer the caller's call. For example, the analysis can be performed using artificial intelligence and machine learning processes. Here, the user profile information is stored in the user profile database 210 for analysis. And at least one predefined table may be used to store user profile information for analysis. User profile information is then analyzed to identify at least one user interaction. User profile information is then analyzed to identify the user's behavior.

Here, the environment is analyzed to represent the user's environment that fails to respond to the caller's outgoing call. Here, the environment of the user may be obtained using the plurality of environmental sensors 215. The plurality of environmental sensors 215 detect the user's environment, which indicates an environmental condition associated with the user while the response to the telephone call fails. For example, environmental conditions include, but are not limited to, environments with varying noise levels, environments with varying temperatures, smoky environments, and environments with varying light intensities. The user's environment obtained from the plurality of environmental sensors 215 is used to obtain inference.

In operation 315, the first mobile device 105a obtains inference based on the user profile information and the user's environment. Here, user profile information and the user's environment are collected to obtain inference. The inference obtained in step 315 represents the situation of the user who fails to answer the caller's call.

For example, if the caller requests a call to the user and the user fails to answer the call, the profile information of the user may include not answering the call because the user is driving. In this case, the motion sensor included in the plurality of environmental sensors 215 may detect that the user is moving. Thus, the user environment and user profile information provided by the motion sensor is used to obtain inference 'when the user is driving.' Here, the inference can include phrases or sentences representing the user's situation during the failure of the caller's response to the call.

In operation 320, the first mobile device 215a generates a text message based on the inference obtained in operation 315. Here, the text message is generated using one or more templates. The generated text message is stored for later transmission to the sender. For example, if the inference is `user is driving`, the text message may include the phrase` the user is driving and cannot answer the call. ' Thus, the text message accurately indicates the reason for the failure of the response to the caller's call origination by the user.

As another example, the MMS may be generated based on the reasoning indicating the reason for the failure of the response to the caller's call by the user. At this time, the MMS may include one or more images representing the situation of the user to transmit to the pepper to the sender.

In operation 325, the first mobile device 105a transmits the text message generated in operation 320 to the sender's second mobile device 105b. At this time, at least one mobile station may be used for transmission of the text message. The text message then clearly indicates to the caller the reason for the failure of the response to the caller's call by the user.

For example, although the text message is described as being transmitted in step 325, an MMS indicating a failure of the response to the call may be transmitted.

4 is a diagram illustrating a plurality of text messages generated based on environment and user profile information according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. User environment at 405 includes the user being in an environment with high background noise. In this case, a noise sensor included in the plurality of environmental sensors 215 may be utilized to identify such an environment.

And the user profile information in line 405 includes that the user does not answer the call in the high noise region. Accordingly, the EUPI engine 220 may obtain inference indicating that the user is in a high noise zone based on the user profile information and the user environment. This reasoning is used to generate a text message.

Inference-text generation module 225 uses at least one template to generate a text message based on the inference above. If the inference was obtained as 'the user is in a high noise zone', the text generation module 225 reads the phrase 'the user cannot receive your call now in a high noise zone', as shown in line 405. Create a text message that includes. The generated text message may be sent to the caller to notify the reason for the failure of the response to the call origination. Alternatively, an MMS may be generated by text generation module 225 that includes an image indicating that the user is in a high noise zone.

And the user environment at line 410 includes that the user is moving. The motion sensor included in the plurality of environmental sensors 215 is used to detect that the user is moving.

And the user profile information at line 410 includes that the user does not answer the call while driving. Accordingly, the EUPI engine 220 obtains inference based on the output of the motion sensor and user profile information indicating that the user is moving. The acquired inference represents `user running`. This reasoning is used to generate a text message.

If the inference was obtained as' user driving ', the inference-text generation module 225 includes text that includes the phrase `user is driving and can not receive your call now', as shown in line 410. Create a message. The generated text message may be sent to the sender to notify the reason for the failure of the response to the telephone call. Alternatively, an MMS that includes an image indicating that the user is driving may be generated by text generation module 225 for transmission to the sender.

And the user environment at line 415 includes that the user is in a dark environment. An optical sensor included in the plurality of environmental sensors 215 senses that the user is in a dark environment.

And the user profile information at line 415 includes that the user does not answer the call after the predetermined time `t` has elapsed. Accordingly, the EUPI engine 220 obtains inference based on the user profile information and the output of the optical sensor. Inference obtained indicates `user sleep '.

If inference is obtained with `user sleeping`, the inference-text generation module 225 may include the phrase` user may be sleeping and not receive your call now ', as shown in line 415. Create a text message. The generated text message can then be sent to the sender. Alternatively, an MMS may be generated by text generation module 225 that includes an image indicating that the user is sleeping.

The user profile information in line 420 may include that the user's mobile device is in a silent mode or a vibration mode. Thereafter, the EUPI engine 220 obtains inference based on the user profile information as the mobile device is in silent or vibration mode. The inference-text generation module 225 then generates a text message, such as the message at line 420, containing the phrase 'the phone may be in silent or vibrate mode and the user may not be around'. The generated text message is sent to the sender. Alternatively, an MMS may be generated by the text generation module 225 that includes an image indicating that the user's phone is in silent or vibrate mode.

Preferably, the present invention transmits to the sender one of the text message and the MMS including the reason for the failure when the user fails to respond to the caller's call origination. One of the text messages and the MMS is automatically generated based on the user profile information and the user environment. While failing to respond to the call, an inference indicative of the user's situation is obtained, and a text message or MMS is generated based on the obtained inference. One of the text messages and the MMS generated is then sent to the caller to clearly inform the caller of the reason for the failure of the response to the user's call.

Through this process, the present invention generates and transmits a smart response including a reason related to the failure of the response of the call by the user in the mobile device, so that the caller can accurately recognize the reason for the failure of the response of the call. Has an effect.

In the above description of the present invention, a specific embodiment such as a mobile communication terminal has been described, but various modifications may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the scope of the patent of the present invention is not limited by the above-described embodiments, and it will be obvious that the patent scope covers not only the claims but also the equivalents.
