Abstract
The vehicle card key of the present invention includes a substrate on which various circuit elements for wireless transmission and reception with a vehicle are mounted, and a storage member coupled to one end of the substrate in a snap-in manner to form a hollow space in which a mechanical key is assembled. According to the present invention, the dimensional stability can be improved as compared with the conventional method in which the accommodating member is assembled on the substrate in a snap-in manner, in which the accommodating member is assembled on the substrate by soldering.
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle card key of the present invention, and more particularly, to a vehicle card key for wirelessly transmitting / receiving locking and unlocking of a vehicle door, starting of a vehicle, and the like.
In general, a car card key of a smart key system is equipped with a wireless handset. The card key can unlock the vehicle's door to start the engine or perform other tasks, even if only held by the user. The card key includes a circuit board for mounting the circuit portion in the resin case and a battery as a power source. In addition, the wireless transceiver includes a mechanical key stored therein for use in an emergency such as battery capacity exhaustion, transceiver breakdown, or the like.
The mechanical key is stored in a separate accommodation space in the resin case. In an emergency, the user removes the mechanical key from the accommodation space of the resin case to unlock the door or use the key for other work.
Recently, wireless transceivers in card keys use more complex and sophisticated systems that use a larger number of components, but the volume of the wireless transceivers themselves is required to be much smaller to be easily carried by the user.
