Description

Refrigerator with water dispenser {REFRIGERATOR WITH A WATER DISPENSER}

The present invention relates to a refrigerator having a water dispenser, and more particularly, to a refrigerator having a dispenser capable of selectively supplying a water source according to a user's intention by connecting an external water source and an internal water source.

In general, the water dispenser is installed in the refrigerator door, and is a device capable of receiving water without opening the refrigerator door.

The water dispenser is provided with an extraction valve on the outside of the refrigerator door, and a water tank inside which the water dispenser can receive a predetermined amount of water.

The ice dispenser is provided with an extraction valve on the outside of the refrigerator door, and a water tank inside the ice dispenser to accommodate a predetermined amount of water.

In addition, the extraction valve is provided with an opening and closing member for regulating the water supply in the water tank.

Therefore, when the user pressurizes the extraction bar to receive water through the water dispenser, the opening / closing member is operated by the pressure at which the extraction valve is pressurized to discharge the water by opening the channel through which the water is supplied.

However, the water dispenser according to the prior art was not only inconvenient to the user to replenish the water from time to time in the water tank, but also hassle to perform periodic hygiene management so that the inside of the water tank is not contaminated by bacteria Due to this, there was a limit to increasing the customer satisfaction.

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a dispenser that can be selectively supplied to the water source according to the user's intention by connecting to the external water source and the internal water source, respectively. To provide a refrigerator.

In order to achieve the above object, a refrigerator provided with a water dispenser according to the present invention,

An extraction valve installed outside the refrigerator door to control the water supply;

A water tank installed inside the refrigerator door to accommodate a predetermined amount of water;

A first water supply line connecting between the extraction valve and the water tank;

A second water supply line guiding an external water supply source to the extraction valve;

A control valve connecting the first water supply line and the second water supply line to each other; And

And a control unit for selectively controlling the water supplied from the first water supply line and the second water supply line by operating the control valve.

In addition, the second water supply line is connected to the first water supply line, the control valve is characterized in that the three-way valve installed in the first water supply line and the second water supply line.

In addition, the second water supply line is characterized in that the pump is installed to increase the moving speed of the water supplied.

And, the pump is characterized in that arranged in the machine room of the refrigerator body.

On the other hand, the control unit includes a detection sensor for detecting the presence of the water tank, characterized in that the hollow passage of the first water supply line is closed by the control unit and the control valve when the water tank is removed.

According to the present invention, the second water supply line and the first water supply line connecting the external water source and the water tank, respectively, the control valve and interconnection of the first water supply line and the second water supply line and the water supply by operating the control valve By configuring the control unit to selectively control the, it is possible to minimize the inconvenience of having to replenish the water in the water tank from time to time, as well as the water supply through the extraction valve even if the water tank is removed from the refrigerator door As a result, it is possible to further improve consumer satisfaction.

1 is a front view showing the configuration of a refrigerator having a water dispenser according to an embodiment of the present invention.
2 is a flow chart showing the operational flow of FIG.

Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying Figures 1 and 2 will be described in detail a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in the drawing, a refrigerator having a water dispenser according to the present invention includes an extraction valve 100 installed outside the refrigerator door 10 to regulate water supply, and installed inside the refrigerator door 10. A water tank 200 capable of accommodating water, a first water supply line 300 connecting the extraction valve 100 and the water tank 200, and an external water supply source A to the extraction valve. A second water supply line 400 leading to the 100, a control valve 500 for interconnecting the first water supply line 300 and the second water supply line 400, and operates the control valve 500 It is configured to include a control unit 600 to selectively control the water supplied from the first water supply line 300 and the second water supply line (400).

First, the extraction valve 100 is installed on the outside of the refrigerator door 10, and is a mechanism that elastically moves in the front and rear directions to the external pressure.

And, the upper end of the extraction valve 100 is provided with an opening and closing member (not shown) to control the water supplied from the water tank 200 or the external water supply source (A) to be described later without leaking.

The water tank 200 is a storage container installed on the inner surface of the refrigerator door 10 to accommodate a predetermined amount of water, an inlet for injecting water (not shown) and an outlet for discharging water ( Not shown) is formed respectively.

The water tank 200 may not only store bottled water, mineral water, barley tea, etc. according to a user's taste, but may also cool the beverage stored by the cold air in the refrigerator storage room.

In addition, a first water supply line 300 is installed between the extraction valve 100 and the water tank 200.

That is, the first water supply line 300 is a tube that forms a hollow through which water passes, and may be made of various materials such as metal, nonmetal, and synthetic resin, and may be manufactured with a flexible mold structure.

In addition, the second water supply line 400 guides the external water supply source A to the extraction valve 100, and is manufactured in the same material and shape as that of the first water supply line 300.

Here, the external water supply source A is a water purifier or tap water (tap water).

That is, the refrigerator having a water dispenser according to the present invention is configured to receive water from an external water supply source A through the second water supply line 400 in addition to the water tank 200.

In addition, it is preferable to further install a pump 700 to increase the moving speed of the water supplied to the second water supply line 400.

At this time, the pump 700 is preferably disposed in the machine room of the refrigerator body.

On the other hand, the control valve 500 has a structure of a three-way valve for connecting the first water supply line 300 and the second water supply line 400, by the operation of the control unit 600 to be described later Select one of the first water supply line 300 and the second water supply line 400 serves to block the water supply. That is, the control valve 500 for blocking the flow of the flow rate is a known technique generally used in the refrigerator manufacturing field, and thus its detailed configuration and operation description will be omitted.

The control unit 600 is electrically connected to the control valve 500 to selectively control the water supplied from the first water supply line 300 and the second water supply line 400. 500) to control the operation.

Naturally, the control unit 600 is installed outside the refrigerator door 10 so that a user can easily operate the control unit 600.

In addition, the control unit 600 includes a detection sensor (not shown) for detecting the presence of the water tank 200, the control unit 600 and the control valve 500 when the water tank 200 is removed. As a result, the hollow passage of the first water supply line 300 is closed.

According to the present invention configured as described above, the second water supply line 400 and the first water supply line 300 connecting the external water supply source A and the water tank 200, respectively, the first water supply line 300 and the first 2 by operating a control valve 500 for interconnecting the water supply line 400 and the control valve 500 to selectively control the water supply, the water into the water tank 200 In addition to minimizing the inconvenience to be supplemented from time to time, even if the water tank 200 is removed from the refrigerator door 10, water supply through the extraction valve 100 can be made to further improve the customer satisfaction It can be effected.
