Abstract

PURPOSE: A golf glove is provided to improve fitting feeling and a sense of unity with a golf club and to increase the swing speed of a golf club head. CONSTITUTION: A golf glove includes a right hand glove(2) and a left hand glove. The right hand glove includes a palm side cloth, a hand back side cloth and a patch cloth(8). The palm side cloth includes a palm part(10), a thumb part(12), an index finger part(14), a middle finger part, a ring finger part(18) and a little finger part(20). The palm part includes a main part(22) and a thumb lower part(24). The thumb part, the index finger part, the middle finger part, the ring finger part and the main part are made of a synthetic leather. The little finger part is made of a different synthetic leather. The thumb lower part is made of knits. The thumb lower part has excellent elasticity and flexibility in comparison with a thumb lower part of the left hand glove. The thumb lower part is thicker than the thumb lower part of the left hand glove.

Golf Gloves {GLOVE FOR GOLF}

This application is accompanied by a priority claim based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2011-227677 filed on October 17, 2011. All contents of this Japanese application are included here by reference.

The present invention relates to gloves worn on golf players.

The grip of a golf club is generally shape | molded with rubber | gum or an elastomer. The golf player grips the grip by hand. The friction with this grip during swinging may cause blisters on the hands. For the purpose of suppressing blisters, golf players wear gloves. Usually, a glove is worn on a hand that is not used well. For example, a right-handed golf player wears gloves on his left hand. In the right hand, a blister does not appear or is small even if it does. Therefore, do not wear gloves on your right hand. On the other hand, in the case of a left-handed golf player, a glove is worn on the right hand.

Recently, female golf players are increasing. Female golf players tend to hate some blisters. Female golf players also tend to hate sunburn. Female golf players often wear gloves on both hands for the purpose of preventing blistering and sunburn in well-used hands. Male golf players also wear gloves on both hands.

Gloves suppress slippage of hands and grips. For golf players with weak grip power, gloves of both hands are effective. A pair of gloves worn on both hands is disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2009-22389.

During a golf swing, the palm of the hand is placed on the thumb of the hand rather than the hand. If a glove is worn on a well-used hand, it is difficult to obtain a sense of unity of both hands. In addition, if a golf player who does not wear gloves on a well-used hand wears gloves on a well-used hand, it is difficult to obtain a feeling of fitting. The lack of a sense of unity and fit distracts the swing. Due to the lack of a sense of unity and a feeling of fitting, a phenomenon in which the head speed decreases can be seen.

An object of the present invention is to provide a golf glove excellent in the sense of unity and fitting.

The pair of golf gloves according to the present invention includes a first glove mounted on a well-used hand and a second glove mounted on a hand other than a well-used hand. At least a portion of the palm of the first glove is made of a material having excellent elasticity or flexibility compared to the portion of the palm of the second glove corresponding to this part.

Preferably, the thickness of the portion made of a material having excellent elasticity or flexibility is larger than the thickness of the portion in the second glove corresponding to this portion.

EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Hereinafter, this invention is demonstrated in detail based on preferable embodiment, referring drawings suitably.

A pair of golf gloves according to the present invention includes a right hand glove (first glove) and a left hand glove (second glove). 1 to 3 show a glove 2 for the right hand. This right hand glove 2 is worn by a right handed golf player. In other words, this right hand glove 2 is worn on a good hand. The glove worn on the left hand of a left handed golf player has a shape in which the shape of the right hand glove 2 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 is mirror-inverted.

In Fig. 1, the right hand glove 2 seen from the palm side is shown. 2 shows a right hand glove 2 seen from the back of the hand. This glove 2 includes a palm side cloth 4, a back of the hand cloth 6, and a padding cloth 8. The palm fabric 4 and the back fabric 6 are joined. Joining is achieved by sealing the palm side fabric 4 and the back of the hand fabric 6 in part. Bonding is also achieved, in part, through the addition cloth 8. The material of the additional fabric 8 is knit. By nitro, it is meant knit or woven along a knit fabric.

The palm side fabric 4 includes a palm 10, a thumb 12, a detector 14, a stop 16, a ring finger 18 and a holding 20. The palm 10 includes a main portion 22 and a thumb base 24. The main part 22 and the thumb bottom part 24 are sealed by the thread 26. As is apparent from FIG. 3, the thickness of the base of the thumb 24 is greater than the thickness of the main part 22. The base of the thumb 24 is sealed with the thread 27 also with the thumb 12.

The thumb part 12, the detection part 14, the stop part 16, the ring finger part 18, and the main part 22 consist of a 1st raw material. The holding part 20 consists of a 2nd raw material. The base of the thumb 24 is made of knit.

The first material is synthetic leather. Synthetic leather can be obtained by apply | coating synthetic resin to a woven fabric. The thumb part 12, the detection part 14, the stop part 16, the ring finger part 18, and the main part 22 are parts which directly contact a grip of a golf club. Synthetic leather with a large coefficient of friction is used as a 1st raw material for the purpose of suppressing the slip of the grip of the right hand glove 2 and a golf club. By applying the synthetic resin with a moist feeling to the fabric, a synthetic leather having a large coefficient of friction can be obtained. Synthetic leather having a large number of minute unevennesses on the surface may be used for the thumb 12, the detection unit 14, the stop 16, the ring finger 18, and the main part 22. By this uneven shape, the slip of the right hand glove 2 and the grip can be suppressed.

The second material is another synthetic leather. The holding portion 20 is in contact with the left hand glove during the swing. In order to prevent the holding | maintenance part 20 in a swing with the left hand gloves, the synthetic leather with a small friction coefficient is used as a 2nd raw material. The synthetic leather with a feeling of dry is apply | coated to a fabric, and the synthetic leather with a small friction coefficient can be obtained.

The back fabric 6 is also made of a second material. As described above, the second material has a dry feeling. This back fabric 6 is not sticky.

Palm-side cloth 32 is made of a first material. As described above, the first material is a synthetic leather with a large coefficient of friction. Palm-side cloth 32 is a part which is in direct contact with the grip of the golf club. The slip of the left hand glove 30 and the grip is suppressed by the first material. For the palm side fabric 32, synthetic leather having a large number of irregularities on its surface may be used. As described above, the thumb base 24 of the right hand glove 2 is made of knit, and the main part 22 of the right hand glove 2 is made of a first material (synthetic leather). The thumb base 24 has excellent elasticity and flexibility compared to the main portion 22.

As described above, the thumb bottom part 24 of the right hand glove 2 is made of knit, and the thumb bottom part 52 of the left hand glove 30 is made of a first material (synthetic leather). The thumb bottom part 24 of the right hand glove 2 is excellent in elasticity and flexibility compared with the thumb bottom part 52 of the left hand glove 30.

At the time of swinging, the thumb base 24 of the right hand glove 2 does not come into contact with the rubber grip. This thumb base 24 does not need a large coefficient of friction. In addition, the thumb underfoot 24 does not need excellent wear resistance. Therefore, instead of leather, a knit can be used for this thumb underfoot part 24.

At the time of swinging, the base of the thumb 24 of the right hand glove 2 is in contact with the fabric 34 of the back of the hand of the left hand glove 30. The thumb base 24 excellent in elasticity and flexibility enhances the feeling of fitting during the swing. In addition, the base of the thumb 24 increases the sense of unity of the right hand and the left hand. A golf player wearing this pair of gloves can swing the golf club without discomfort. A material other than knit may be used for the base of the thumb 24 of the right hand glove 2. Examples of materials other than knits include synthetic leathers excellent in elasticity and artificial leathers excellent in elasticity.

Tensile loads F1 and F2 can be measured by a tensile tester. The test piece is strip-shaped. The width of this test piece is 50 mm and the length is 300 mm. The distance between marks is 50 mm, and the tensile speed is 200 mm / min. The test piece is cut from the fabric of the glove. The test is conducted under an environment of 23 ° C.

In the case where the elasticity of the base of the thumb is directional, the measurement is made in the direction with the least tensile load and in the direction orthogonal to this. Both are averaged and the tensile load F1 or F2 is calculated.

The thickness T1 of the thumb 20 of the right hand glove 2 is larger than the thickness T2 of the thumb 22 of the left hand glove 30. In this respect, the ratio (T1 / T2) is preferably 1.2 / 1.0 or more, particularly preferably 1.4 / 1.0 or more. 0.5 mm or more and 1.5 mm or less are preferable, and, as for the thickness T1 of the base of the thumb 24, it is especially preferable that they are 0.7 mm or more and 1.0 mm or less.

Good hand gloves may be sold alone. This well-used hand glove is used in combination with a hand glove, not a well-handed hand.

Example 1

A pair of gloves shown in Figures 1 to 6 were produced. [Evaluation of Filling]

A female golf player wearing a pair of gloves was gripped with a golf club to evaluate a sense of unity and fit. The results are shown in Table 1 below. The larger the value, the more preferable.

[Measuring Head Speed]

A female golf player wearing a pair of gloves hit a golf ball with a driver. The head speed immediately before this hit was measured. The average value of the 10 measurement results is shown in Table 1 below.
