Abstract

PURPOSE: A camera module assembling method is provided to easily perform a lens positioning and an initial focusing by tack-welding a first lens barrel and a second lens barrel. CONSTITUTION: Lenses(110,120,130,140) are mounted inside of a first barrel(100), and a lens(150) is mounted inside of a second barrel(200). A lens positioning capable of positioning each of mounted lenses(110,120,130,140,150) is performed by tack-welding the first lens barrel to the second lens barrel. The lenses(110,120,130,140,150) have to satisfy a de-center and a tilt spec condition. The second lens barrel is separated from the first lens barrel and is installed in a VCM[Voice Coil Motor] part(500). The VCM part in which the first lens barrel is installed is welded after arrangement.

Description

카메라 모듈의 조립 방법 { Method for assembling camera module }Assembly Method of Camera Module {Method for assembling camera module}

The present invention relates to a method of assembling a camera module.

In general, the camera module includes a lens transfer device for transferring the lens in the optical axis direction, and the lens transfer device uses an actuator as a means for generating power.

Therefore, such a lens transfer device implements an auto focus function by adjusting the focal length by transferring the lens in the optical axis direction by using the power generated from the actuator.

The voice coil motor (hereinafter referred to as 'VCM') disclosed in Korean Patent Application Publication No. 2010-0071566, which is a kind of such actuator, has a flaming between the voice current flowing through the voice coil of the speaker and the magnetic force generated in the permanent magnet. It is a motor developed by paying attention to the vibration of the diaphragm of the speaker back and forth due to the force generated by the left hand law.

VCMs can be used for precise tracking or focusing because VCMs linearly reciprocate over short distances, compared to DC motors or stepping motors.

Recently, camera modules are increasingly installed in mobile communication terminals such as mobile phones and PDAs.

Such a camera module may be equipped with an auto focusing (AF) function, and a VCM is used to implement the AF function. In general, in order to implement the AF function in the camera module, a lens may be shifted to focus on a specific subject.

On the other hand, each of the lenses built in the camera module is designed by the company that manufactures the lens, in the assembly process of a conventional camera module it is mounted in a separate master barrel to test the performance of the plurality of lenses. There was a disadvantage that a complex assembly process was required.
