Abstract

PURPOSE: A welding carriage using a flexible guide rail is provided to install the flexible guide rail adjacent to a welding portion by using a magnet part and to move the welding carriage along the guide rail, thereby welding faster than a carriage system using welding seam tracking. CONSTITUTION: A welding carriage using a flexible guide rail comprises magnet parts(20), a flexible guide rail(10), and a welding carriage(30). The magnet parts are installed along a welding portion at a regular interval. The flexible guide rail is coupled with the magnet parts, and is installed at a certain distance from the welding portion. A pair of guide rollers(32), which move along the flexible guide rail, is installed in the welding carriage. A welding torch(34) is installed at one side of the welding carriage, and the pair of guide rollers is installed at the front and rear of the other side of the same. The pair of guide rollers is installed at the side of the welding carriage. The flexible guide rail is capable of being installed with the magnet parts by bolt fastening or by using an extra coupling member.
