DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a system for observing a learning state of a user consuming remote lecture content. In an embodiment of the present invention, the user's behavior may be directly observed during learning in order to evaluate the learning satisfaction of the user, that is, the learning efficiency in the remote lecture solution.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating an internal configuration of a system for observing a learning condition of a remote lecture that passively observes a learning state of a user in a distance teaching solution according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, the remote lecture learning state observation system (hereinafter, abbreviated as 'observation system') 100 according to an embodiment may include a monitor 110 and an evaluator 120. .
The monitor 110 monitors a user's behavior of directly consuming the remote lecture content through the user terminal on which the remote lecture content is being executed. Here, the user terminal may refer to any communication terminal capable of executing remote lecture content, such as a PC, a smart phone, and a tablet. The remote lecture contents may be executed while the user terminal directly connects to the remote lecture server providing the remote lecture contents according to the service type and maintains the connection with the remote lecture server, or the service-only application provided by the remote lecture server (for example, , A smart phone application, a feature phone VM (virtual machine, etc.) may be executed through a service-only application when installed in the user terminal. In an embodiment of the present invention, a user may monitor a dismissal state in which a user does not concentrate on the remote lecture while performing a remote lecture. Representative types of analysis include the use of multitasking on the user's terminal to simultaneously use other processes in addition to the remote lecture (1), the type of dozing or taking different actions while the learning solution is running, and the TV while the learning solution is running. And the like (3) utilizing other devices at the same time. As shown in FIG. 1, the monitor 110 includes a
The evaluator 120 reflects the user's behavior monitored by the monitor 110 in the user evaluation in the remote lecture solution. In other words, the evaluation unit 120 may evaluate the learning state of the user who listens to the remote lecture based on the observation elements observed by the monitor 110. Here, the learning state may mean the concentration of the user in the remote lecture, learning efficiency, learning satisfaction, and the like. (1) When the observation element monitored by the monitor 110 is a task currently running in the user terminal, the evaluator 120 includes a task other than the lecture related task related to the content of the remote lecture. The learning status of the user can be evaluated based on whether or not the user is learning. That is, the evaluation unit 120 may determine that the user does not concentrate on the lecture if other processes such as a game and a music player are executed by multitasking along with the lecture-related task. (2) When the observation element monitored by the monitor 110 is a user interaction with respect to the user terminal, the evaluation unit 120 determines whether the user interaction is an interaction with another process other than the lecture related interaction related to the content of the remote lecture. As a reference, the learning status of the user can be evaluated. In other words, the evaluation unit 120 may determine that the user does not concentrate on the lecture when the interaction for operating a process other than the interaction with the remote lecture content is recognized while executing the remote lecture content. (3) When the observation element monitored by the monitor 110 is an image input through the camera of the user terminal, the evaluation unit 120 may analyze the image input through the camera to evaluate the learning state of the user. For example, the evaluation unit 120 may recognize a face such as the eyes and mouth of the user or the degree of movement of the user through the image, and it is determined that the user is sleepy or the user frequently moves above the reference value through the recognition. The user may be determined not to focus on the lecture. (4) When the observation element monitored by the monitor 110 is a voice input through the microphone of the user terminal, the evaluation unit 120 may analyze the voice input through the microphone to evaluate the learning state of the user. For example, if the voice input through the microphone includes a voice other than the voice related to the remote lecture content, the evaluator 120 determines that another device such as a TV is turned on and determines that the user does not concentrate on the lecture. Can be. Therefore, the evaluation unit 120 may evaluate the learning state of the user who listens to the remote lecture according to the observation element observed through the user terminal. In this embodiment, a table that maps the level of learning attitude to each category of observation elements may be applied by defining the learning attitude for the observation element and the learning attitude for the remote lecture as a plurality of levels (for example, upper, middle, and lower). have. In this case, the evaluation unit 120 may determine the level of the learning state corresponding to the element observed from the user terminal through the table. In addition, if it is determined that the user does not concentrate on the remote lecture, the evaluation unit 120 may provide a message related to the current learning state to the user who is listening to the corresponding lecture through the user terminal. In this case, the message may include a content of encouragement or warning, and may be provided in at least one of a text, an image, and a voice. In addition, the evaluation unit 120 may provide the learning state of the user to the remote lecture server that provides the remote lecture solution. For example, when the observation system 100 having the above configuration is constructed as a system separate from the remote lecture server (when built on the user terminal), the evaluation unit 120 may manage the learning state for each user in the remote lecture server. The learning status of the evaluated user can be transmitted to the remote lecture server. The evaluator 120 performing the above operation may include a learning
Observation system 100 having the above configuration may be built on the remote lecture server side providing a remote lecture solution, or may be built on the user terminal side that is a subject consuming the remote lecture. Alternatively, some components of the observation system 110 may reside on the user terminal side and others on the remote lecture server side, depending on the system implementation or service type. In addition, the observation system 100 having the above-described configuration may be implemented as a dedicated application module installed in the user terminal for evaluating the learning state of the user, which is implemented as a module integrated with a service-only application that provides a remote lecture. Or may be implemented as a separate application module that interworks with a service-only application. The present invention is not limited to the above-described implementation manners, and in some cases, the form or method of constructing the observation system 100 may be changed.
2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for observing a learning condition of a remote lecture in which a learning state of a user is observed using various observation elements according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the remote lecture learning state observation method according to an embodiment of the present invention, each step may be performed by the observation system 100 described with reference to FIG. 1.
