Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a book management system and a book management method using the same, and more particularly, to a book management system that can automatically borrow and return books using RFID communication, and a book management method using the same.
In general, management methods for borrowing / returning books include management methods using barcode recognition and management methods using RFID communication.
The management method using the bar code recognition is a method that a librarian employee manages using a bar code attached to a book. However, the management method using the bar code recognition has to find and recognize barcodes one by one, so that the speed of loan / return work can be improved. There is a problem of inaccuracy.
In recent years, a management method using RFID communication is mainly used for efficient management of books. In this case, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) communication refers to transmitting and receiving information using a radio frequency from an electronic tag attached to an object.
In order to perform such RFID communication, an RFID reader and an RFID tag are required. The RFID reader includes an internal or external antenna, which emits an active signal to form an RF field as an electromagnetic field. When the RFID tag enters the RF field, the RFID tag receives an active signal emitted from the antenna of the RFID reader and transmits information stored in the RFID tag to the RFID reader using the received active signal. Then, the RFID reader receives the information transmitted from the RFID tag and analyzes it to obtain the unique information of the article equipped with the RFID tag.
However, in such a book management method, the price of the tag to be attached to the book is expensive, and there is a risk of loss of the book because the tag is not profitable.
Embodiments according to the present invention to provide a book management system and a book management method using the same so that the customer can automatically manage the loan and return of the RFID tag attached book without a librarian staff.
Technical problems to be achieved in the present invention are not limited to the technical problems mentioned above, and other technical problems not mentioned above are clearly understood by those skilled in the art to which the embodiments proposed from the following description belong. Could be.
The book management system according to an embodiment of the present invention obtains first and second identification information from an accessed user and an article, respectively, and transmits the acquired first and second identification information, and the first identification transmitted. And a management computer configured to provide a screen for selecting at least one management item using the information, and to perform a management operation according to the management item selected on the screen with respect to the second identification information.
The first identification information may be user information obtained from a user identification card, and the second identification information may be item information obtained from an article to which an RFID tag is attached.
The management item may include at least one of a loan item, a return item, and a search item.
The RFID device may further include: a first antenna unit for detecting first identification information from a user identification card, a first RFID reader unit for recognizing and transferring the first identification information detected through the first antenna unit, and an article; A second antenna unit for detecting second identification information from an RFID tag attached to the second tag, a second RFID reader unit for recognizing and transferring the second identification information detected through the second antenna unit, a first identification information, and And a communication unit for transmitting second identification information to the management computer, and a control unit for transmitting the first and second identification information to the management computer to control management of the accessed article.
The first antenna unit may be an antenna of an HF band, and the second antenna unit may be an antenna of an UHF band.
In addition, the communication unit communicates through at least one of USB, RS-232, IEEE-485 and Ethernet (Ethernet) means.
The management computer may further include a display unit configured to display a management item selection screen according to the first identification information transmitted from the RFID device, and to manage the second identification information based on the management item selected on the management item selection screen. And a storage unit which stores the first and second identification information and management information.
The management computer may further include a communication unit configured to transmit management information including the first and second identification information and the selected management item to a management server.
A book management method of a book management system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of obtaining user information, displaying a selection screen for selecting at least one management item according to the obtained user information, and selecting the selection screen. Selecting at least one management item, acquiring item information, and performing management corresponding to the selected management item on the obtained item information.
The acquiring of the user information may include detecting access of a user identification card to which an RFID tag is attached, and obtaining user information from the RFID tag by performing HF RFID communication.
The acquiring of the article information may include detecting access of an article attached with an RFID tag, and obtaining article information from the RFID tag by performing UHF RIFD communication.
The displaying of the selection screen may include displaying a selection screen including at least one item of a loan item, a return item, and a search item.
The method may further include transmitting management information corresponding to the user information, article information, and management item to a server.
The method may further include displaying guide information according to a result of the management.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a library librarian can reduce the amount of work of the staff, the customer can eliminate the inconvenience that the librarian has to go through the borrower for the loan / return of books, and by using the RFID system of the UHF band, At the same time, loans and returns can increase the accuracy and speed of the book's loan and return operations.
