Abstract
A systemic electrical stimulation therapy device is disclosed. The whole body electric stimulation treatment device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a mat, a plurality of electrodes disposed on an upper surface of the mat, and a current supply unit supplying current to the plurality of electrodes.
Description
The present invention relates to an electrical stimulation treatment device for the whole body, and more particularly, to a human therapeutic device capable of applying the electrical stimulation to the whole body just lying on the mat without a separate pad.
When a nerve is stimulated or active, an electrical phenomenon called an active current occurs, and the active current performs the original function of the nerve. Microcurrent therapy devices are based on this principle and are designed to treat pain by flowing low frequency currents into nerves and muscles. Such microcurrents are reported to be not only harmless to the human body, but also have a therapeutic effect because they are similar in magnitude to biocurrent flowing in our bodies.
The magnitude of the current used in the microcurrent therapy device depends on its therapeutic purpose. In general, a mA level current is used for muscle stimulation, and a μA level current is used for nerve stimulation. In addition to the microcurrent as described above, various currents such as low frequency, medium frequency, or pulse wave are used for therapeutic purposes.
