Description

Wiper Connector for Preventing Gap

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a wiper connector, and more particularly, to a wiper connector in which a U-hook type wiper arm is fastened and fastened to a wiper assembly, wherein the occurrence of play during operation is suppressed.

The wiper for wiping the windshield of the vehicle consists of a wiper blade assembly consisting of a rubber blade directly touching the window and a frame supporting the rubber blade, which is connected to and operated by a wiper arm driven by a wiper actuating motor. do. It is the wiper assembly that performs the function of mediating the connection of the wiper blade assembly and the wiper arm.

Usually, the wiper arm is shaped like a U-hook bent into a U-shape, and the U-shape is seated at the distal end of the wiper connector. However, the side wall of the wiper connector may be damaged by protrusions formed on the side of the blade assembly when the wiper connector is mounted on the wiper blade assembly, and the wiper connector plays an important role due to such damage and frequent wear of the wiper. It can not play the role of limiting the angle of rotation, and there is a drawback of play.

An object of the present invention is to solve the problems of the conventional wiper connector as described above to minimize the damage when mounting the wiper connector, and to suppress the occurrence of the gap caused by the wiper operation by wiper connector structure that can perform the role of limiting the rotation angle well To provide.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a wiper connector mounted to a wiper assembly to connect a wiper arm and a wiper assembly, the wiper connector comprising: a first sidewall having a curved tip and an opposite sidewall to the first sidewall; A second sidewall provided to have a symmetrical shape, a connecting portion connecting the first sidewall and the second sidewall, extending from a lower side of the connecting portion to a rear end side of the first sidewall and the second sidewall, It includes a lever including a projection to be fastened. An elastic part is provided at both ends of the first sidewall and the second sidewall, and the side parts are cut out.

According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, guide grooves extending from the upper side to the elastic portion are formed in the first side wall and the second side wall.

In addition, the thickness of the elastic part is preferably thicker than the first side wall and the second side wall, and only the thickness of the lower end of the elastic part may be formed thicker than the first side wall and the second side wall. According to another preferred embodiment of the present invention, the elastic portion is formed to be bent into the wiper connector.

According to the present invention, the damage is minimized when the wiper connector is mounted on the wiper blade assembly, and the rotation angle of the blade assembly and the play suppression effect due to wear are also provided.

2 is a view showing a state before the wiper connector according to the present invention is mounted to the wiper blade assembly.
3 is a cross-sectional view showing a state at the time when the wiper connector according to the present invention starts to be mounted on the wiper blade assembly.
Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view showing a state of the contact point of the projection in the process of mounting the wiper connector according to the present invention wiper blade assembly.
Fig. 5 shows a state just before the wiper arm is assembled to the wiper connector according to the present invention.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

1 shows a perspective view of a wiper connector 1 according to the invention. The wiper connector 1 includes a first sidewall 10 having a first curved tip 15, a second sidewall 20 opposite the first sidewall 10 and symmetrical with respect to the first sidewall 10, It includes a connecting portion 30 for connecting the first side wall 10 and the second side wall 20, and the lever 40. The second side wall 20 has a second curved tip portion 25 similarly to the first side wall 10. The connecting portion 30 connecting the first curved tip portion 15 and the second curved tip portion 25 is also formed in a curved surface. The lever 40 is provided below the connecting portion 30 and extends toward the rear end side of the first side wall 10 and the second side wall 20, and the protrusion 45 to which the wiper arm 200 (see FIG. 5) is fastened. Is provided. "Rear end" means the opposite direction of the curved leading end.

Elastic portions 17 and 27 are provided at the lower ends of the first side wall 10 and the second side wall 20. Both sides of the elastic portions 17 and 27 are preferably cut out as shown in FIG. Do.

Guide grooves 13 and 23 extending from the upper side of the first side wall 10 and the second side wall 20 to the elastic portions 17 and 27 are formed. The guide grooves 13 and 23 are grooves through which the protrusions 110 and 120 of the wiper blade assembly 100 are guided.

On the other hand, the thickness of the elastic portion 17, 27 is preferably formed thicker than the thickness of the first side wall 10 and the second side wall (20). Alternatively, only the thicknesses of the lower end portions of the elastic parts 17 and 27 may be formed thicker than the thicknesses of the first side wall 10 and the second side wall 20. “Lower end” means a portion where the end thickness portion of the wiper arm 200 bent when the wiper arm 200 is fastened to the wiper connector 1.

In addition, the elastic portions 17 and 27 are preferably provided in a form bent into the wiper connector 1, as can be seen in the cross-sectional view of Figs.

Next, the operation of the wiper connector 1 according to the present invention will be described.

2 shows a state just before the wiper connector 1 is mounted to the wiper blade assembly 100. The wiper blade assembly 100 is provided with a shaft 150, and the shaft 150 is accommodated in the shaft receiving portion 60 formed by the curved tip portions 15 and 25 of the wiper connector 1 so that the wiper connector 1 is provided. ) Is mounted to the wiper blade assembly 100.

A cross-sectional view of the state immediately before mounting the wiper connector 1 to the wiper blade assembly 100 is shown in FIG. 3, with the elastic part 17 touching the sidewall of the blade assembly 100 as shown in FIG. 3. And the elastic part 17 is bent inward, thereby minimizing damage to the wiper connector 1. As shown in FIG. 4, even when touching the protrusion 110, the vehicle may smoothly ride over, thereby minimizing damage.

The state immediately after mounting the wiper connector 1 to the wiper blade assembly 100 and immediately after mounting the U-hook wiper arm 200 to the wiper connector 1 is shown in FIG. 5. As described above, since the thicknesses of the elastic parts 17 and 27 are thicker than those of the first side wall 10 and the second side wall 20, when the wiper arm 200 is mounted, the elastic parts 17 and 27 may have a wiper arm ( The ends of 200 are pushed in the A and B directions, ie outward of the wiper connector 1, respectively. When the elastic parts 17 and 27 are pushed outwards, the wiper connector 1 comes into close contact with the side wall of the blade assembly 100. Therefore, since the projections 110 and 120 are difficult to pass over the guide grooves 13 and 23, it is possible to more effectively suppress the rotation angle of the blade assembly 100. In addition, since the elastic parts 17 and 27 are pushed outward, the effect that the occurrence of play due to wear can be significantly suppressed is provided.
