Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus for fixing an endotracheal tube to be intubated in a trachea.
In general, tracheal tubes used to secure the patient's airways are inserted into the trachea through the oral cavity.
The tracheal tube is provided with an adapter (see
When the cuff is inflated while the tracheal tube is intubated, the trachea is closed by the expanded cuff, preventing oxygen or inhalation anesthetics from the source supplied to the lungs along the tracheal tube to prevent backflow from the lungs.
The intubated tracheal tube is held in position by an inflated cuff to a certain extent, but is usually wrapped around the mouth with a tape (adhesive band) around the adapter for a more stable fixation. However, this fixation method has to be taped one by one and usually requires two people to work together, which is a waste of time and manpower, and can cause contact dermatitis when applied to patients with weak skin.
An object of the present invention is to provide a tracheal tube fixing device that can easily secure the tracheal tube.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first body and a second body are fixed to the tracheal tube is coupled to each other by a coupling means with the tracheal tube inserted in the oral cavity of the patient, the first and second The two bodies are each provided with a tube groove for pressing the inserted tracheal tube when the tracheal tube is inserted into the inner side facing each other and at the same time the first and second bodies are coupled, at least one of the first and second bodies. One outer periphery is provided with an outer engaging portion positioned outside on the basis of the patient's teeth, and at least one outer periphery of the first and second bodies has an inner engaging spaced apart from the outer engaging portion with the patient's teeth interposed therebetween. An additionally provided tracheal tube fixing device may be provided.
At least one fixing protrusion may be provided in at least one of the tube groove of the first body and the tube groove of the second body. At this time, the fixing projection is preferably formed so that the end is pointed.
Here, the first body is provided with slide grooves along the longitudinal direction of the tube grooves on both sides thereof with the tube grooves interposed therebetween, and the second body between the tube grooves so as to be fitted into the slide grooves. The slide blocks are provided on both sides thereof, and the coupling means may include the slide groove and the slide block.
The slide groove may have an opening for fitting the slide block in the middle portion thereof.
One of the slide groove and the slide block is provided with a stop groove, and the other of the slide groove and the slide block is provided with a stop protrusion fitted to the stop groove, and the stop groove and the stop protrusion are provided on the slide groove. The blocks can be positioned to engage with each other when fully fitted.
On the other hand, the engaging means, and not the slide coupling mechanism as described above, positioned in the first body and at least one locking groove provided on each side with the tube groove of the first body therebetween; The second body may be of a type including hooks respectively provided on both sides with the tube groove of the second body interposed therebetween so as to be fitted into the locking groove.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first body and a second body are fixed to the tracheal tube is coupled to each other by a coupling means with the tracheal tube inserted in the oral cavity of the patient, the first and second At least one outer periphery of the two body is provided with an outer engaging portion located on the outside relative to the patient's teeth, the coupling means can engage the first and second body in a sliding manner along the longitudinal direction of the tracheal tube A tracheal tube holding device, which is a slide coupling mechanism adapted to be provided, may be provided.
According to the present invention, the intubated tracheal tube can be fixed simply and quickly without using a tape (band-aid).
