Abstract

PURPOSE: A tracheal tube fixing device is provided to enable a user to rapidly fix an intubated tracheal tube without using a tape. CONSTITUTION: A tracheal tube fixing device comprises a fixed body(10) which is fixed in the tracheal tube intubated in the oral cavity of a patient. The body has tracheal tube insertion holes(111,121) penetrated in a longitudinal direction. In the tracheal tube insertion hole, a tracheal tube is inserted. The body includes first and second bodies(110,120) covering the circumference of the tracheal tube. The first and second bodies are fixed to the tracheal tube.

Description

Apparatus for Fixing Endotracheal Tube

The present invention relates to an apparatus for fixing an endotracheal tube to be intubated in a trachea.

In general, tracheal tubes used to secure the patient's airways are inserted into the trachea through the oral cavity.

The tracheal tube is provided with an adapter (see reference numeral 2 in FIGS. 1 and 2) connected to an oxygen or inhalation anesthetic source at the end located outside the mouth during intubation, while the air tube is inflated when the air is injected at the opposite end positioned at the trachea during intubation. Cuff (see reference numeral 4 in FIGS. 1 and 2) is provided.

When the cuff is inflated while the tracheal tube is intubated, the trachea is closed by the expanded cuff, preventing oxygen or inhalation anesthetics from the source supplied to the lungs along the tracheal tube to prevent backflow from the lungs.

The intubated tracheal tube is held in position by an inflated cuff to a certain extent, but is usually wrapped around the mouth with a tape (adhesive band) around the adapter for a more stable fixation. However, this fixation method has to be taped one by one and usually requires two people to work together, which is a waste of time and manpower, and can cause contact dermatitis when applied to patients with weak skin.

An object of the present invention is to provide a tracheal tube fixing device that can easily secure the tracheal tube.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a first body and a second body are fixed to the tracheal tube is coupled to each other by a coupling means with the tracheal tube inserted in the oral cavity of the patient, the first and second The two bodies are each provided with a tube groove for pressing the inserted tracheal tube when the tracheal tube is inserted into the inner side facing each other and at the same time the first and second bodies are coupled, at least one of the first and second bodies.
