Abstract

PURPOSE: A side mirror device of a vehicle which enables a driver to accurately check a parking line during reverse parking is provided to prevent minor accidents by changing the orientation of a side mirror toward a parking line using a parking mode switch. CONSTITUTION: A side mirror device of a vehicle comprises a manipulation part(3), a parking mode switch(4), a setting switch(5), and a controller(2). The parking mode switch and setting switch are installed in the interior of a vehicle. The controller comprises a parking mode control circuit(6) including the memory part. The parking mode control circuit reacts to a signal of the setting switch and parking mode switch. When a driver pushes the setting switch, the parking mode control circuit memorizes the location. When the parking mode switch is turned on, the side mirror is turned to a parking mode. When the parking mode switch is turned off, the side mirror is turned to a driving mode.
