The present invention relates to a pet hydrogel patch composition and a method for manufacturing the same mixed with an inorganic material dissolved according to the external influence, the hydrogel composition can be effectively applied to wound healing and beauty when adhered to the skin of dogs It relates to a hydrogel patch composition and a method for producing the same.
The skin of a pet animal is one of the organs that protects the pet's body from external stimuli, prevents the loss of water, and performs important life protection functions such as controlling the body temperature and preventing bacterial invasion. It causes the loss of its original function, and it causes various side effects and bacterial infection from the outside due to water loss, making it difficult to treat the affected area, or additional side effects such as secondary dysfunction or damage are severe. It also affects life extension. Therefore, in order to quickly heal wounds and to minimize secondary side effects, it is necessary to use wound dressings. When the skin of an animal is exposed to fine humid weather, the protection of the skin itself becomes weak. This causes a lot of skin secretions, such as sebum, the skin is stretched and the skin irritation caused by ultraviolet rays. So dogs need proper skin care. First, if you have sebum or other skin secretions, you should wipe them off immediately and wash them as often as possible to keep them clean and refreshed. However, if dogs are washed frequently, the skin loses moisture, which makes the skin dry and rough, so skin care is required to satisfy the absorption and supply of skin secretions. In addition, if the hair (hair) covering the skin of the animal is unsanitary care can also cause problems in the hygiene of people raising pets. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a product that can hygienically manage the hair of a pet and can absorb and remove skin secretions due to its absorbency.
The use of hydrogels mixed with inorganic materials to sanitize pet hair hygienically and to manage wound healing and skin problems can result in the rapid delivery of large amounts of inorganic materials and cosmetics from the hydrogels to the skin. Should be In order to satisfy such characteristics, the healing agent and the cosmetic agent in the hydrogel should be quickly and evenly delivered to the skin as compared with the conventional one. U. S. Patent No. 6,051, 425 describes the preparation of porous collagen dressing sheet materials made by lyophilization. Since the above techniques are required to use animal collagen, it is very expensive due to the high cost in the manufacturing process, and there is a problem of low hardness because it uses hydrated collagen gel. In addition, the freeze-drying method has the disadvantage of high energy consumption and long time.
Among the hydrogels used for wound treatment, the hydrogel types shown in US Pat. Nos. 5,501,661 and 5,489,262 form a form in which a hydrogel is applied to a polymer film layer having no permeability, and the polymer film layer is dehydrated or dried. The hydrogel layer absorbs the exudates in contact with the wound and maintains a moist environment to promote wound healing. However, due to low moisture permeability, it is impossible to use a wound with many exudates, and if the water swelling state continues, the dressing material collapses and causes troubles on the normal skin. The hydrophilic polyurethane foam dressing agent shown in U.S. Patent Nos. 5,445,604 and 5,065,752 is a structure in which the structure is lined with a film on both sides of the polyurethane foam, and the outer film is not mechanically perforated in the film contacting the wound surface. Since the moisture permeability is not sufficient, there is a problem that it is not suitable for long-term adhesion, there is a problem such that the regeneration tissue is attached due to the holes present in the film on the wound surface.
(Michael Z. C., Hu and Mark Reeves, Biosorption of Uranium by Pseud omonas Aeruginosa strain CUS Immobilized in a Novel Matrix Biotechnology Progress, 13(1), In general, dressing is used to effectively treat wounds of the skin such as wounds and traumas. Wound dressings require the ability to maintain adequate moisture at the contact surface with wounds, the ability to control wound secretions, ease of attachment and removal of dressings to wounds, and air and vapor permeability between external wounds. Insulation of the wound to the outside, resistance to the invasion of bacteria, non-toxic to the skin, excellent mechanical properties are required. The development of such dressing agents has been developed into the mainstream of dry dressing, but the revolutionary theoretical development of wet dressing instead of dry dressing has been developed by some important research results. Hinman and Maibach established a theory of the effect of moisture on wound healing, and by 1970 Michael et al. (Michael ZC, Hu and Mark Reeves, Biosorption of Uranium by Pseud omonas Aeruginosa strain CUS Immobilized in a Novel Matrix Biotechnology Progress, 13 (1), 1997) It contained a moderate amount of water in the wound, active epithelial cell migration, and shortened wound healing period. In particular, Winter proved that epithelial remodeling was about 40% faster in the presence of adequate moisture than in the wound. As the first dressing agent to meet this theory of wet environment, the first generation of modern dressings was launched in 1971 by Opportunity, Smith Nephew, which consists of polyurethane film, vinyl ether and adhesive. It is a semi-permeable film dressing that prevents the ingress of moisture and allows the permeation of gas and water vapor from the wound surface to prevent the skin around the wound from falling down and to prevent bacterial infection on the wound surface and to maintain a wet environment. Based on this theory, Opsite was widely used as an excellent dressing agent that satisfies the theory of wet environment, but its problems such as its properties and tackiness were revealed. Other manufacturers have developed a variety of materials that have attempted to improve the materials used for films and to change the pressure-sensitive adhesives to acrylates. This development resulted in the so-called second-generation dressings in the 1970s. A product using Convatec's Hydro colloid, a hydrocolloid is a generic term for a series of products based on hydrophilic polymers and is widely used in wound, stoma and incontinence management devices. . The emergence of hydrocolloids has helped significantly in the treatment of wound healing, especially chronic refractory skin ulcers such as pressure sores and lower ulcers. These dressings are not just covering the wounds and absorbing the secretions, but are being studied in various ways, including proper moisture to help remodel epithelium and prevent bacterial invasion.
In the study of drug delivery system (DDS), Zeng and Aeng (J. Control, Release, 92, 227 (2003)) have applied drugs to biodegradable poly (L-lactic acid) (PLA). After the nanofibers were prepared by incorporation and electrospinning, the release properties of the drug were evaluated. The release of the drug was not influenced by the diffusion or permeation of the drug inside the nanofibers, but only by the decomposition of the polymer fiber as a carrier. As such, the release of drugs is determined by the presence of proteinase K, which degrades PLA, and research and industrialization efforts are being made in the medical industry.
In general, it is difficult to attach a protection device for a long time to the beauty of the pet and to treat skin wounds. In particular, most pets are hairy, so if a wound or skin trouble occurs, the dressing agent cannot be applied directly to the skin. To enhance this effect, water-soluble polymer hydrogel patches containing inorganic materials such as silver nano, gold nano and clay that swell during wet absorption can be developed to effectively manage wound healing and skin troubles of pets. Can be. In particular, it may be effective if it contains a drug that can manage the simulated hygiene. These pet hydrogel patches contain drugs that can enhance affinity between skin and hygienically manage hair, especially when inorganic materials and cosmetics or drugs are dissolved, drugs are delivered to the skin, and the characteristics of inorganic materials Determining the correct antibacterial and temperature control of the skin can be very effective for pet skin care. That is, in the hydrogel patch containing an inorganic material having a high affinity for skin, the delivery of a cosmetic or drug to the skin of a dog can occur easily and quickly.
