The present invention relates to an audio / video / navigation (AVN) head unit upgrade system and method using Bluetooth. More particularly, the AVN can be upgraded by downloading update data from a server through a mobile communication terminal capable of Bluetooth communication. In addition, the upgrade data is transmitted to the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) connected to the AVN head unit and the CAN (Controller Area Network) through the user interface of the AVN head unit, and checks the transmission status and completion information of the ECUs. The present invention relates to a system and method for upgrading the firmware and software of an AVN (Audio / Video / Navigation) head unit using Bluetooth. The present invention relates to an upgrade system and a method for transmitting upgrade data to ECUs (Electronic Control Units) connected through a network, and checking whether data is transmitted and whether each ECU is upgraded.
