Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for preventing vehicle audio theft, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for preventing theft of vehicle audio using a security code.
In general, encrypted vehicle information is stored inside the audio. The anti-theft device compares the vehicle information transmitted from the vehicle with the vehicle information stored in the audio and determines that the audio is stolen if the information does not match. The anti-theft device releases the stolen state, stores a password for confirming authority to store new vehicle information in the audio, and updates the vehicle information and the stolen state by checking the stored password.
Conventional anti-theft devices store vehicle information and passwords in Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) or Electrical Erasible Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM). Due to the nature of FRAM or EEPROM, the information stored here can be copied relatively easily by others. Thus, anyone who knows the password can copy the information stored in the FRAM or EEPROM of the audio, which can disable the encryption function of the anti-theft device.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a vehicle audio anti-theft device and method for preventing the security of media copy security in which security information is stored.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle audio anti-theft device and method for preventing the spread of other audio even if security of certain audio is disabled.
In order to achieve the above object, the vehicle audio anti-theft device using encryption according to an aspect of the present invention includes an encryption unit for encrypting the transmitted vehicle information and the password for authorization to store the vehicle information; Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) for storing encrypted vehicle information and password; And a flash memory storing a security code used when encrypting the vehicle information and a password.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for preventing vehicle audio theft using encryption, comprising: encrypting a transmitted vehicle information and a password for granting permission to store the vehicle information; And storing encrypted vehicle information and password, and a security code used when encrypting the vehicle information and password.
According to the present invention, there is an effect that can prevent the media copy security in which the security information is stored to be disabled.
In particular, even if the security of certain audio is disabled, it is possible to prevent the spread of other audio.

Advantages and features of the present invention and methods for achieving them will be apparent with reference to the embodiments described below in detail with the accompanying drawings. The present invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art. And is intended to enable a person skilled in the art to readily understand the scope of the invention, and the invention is defined by the claims. It is to be understood that the terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. In the present specification, the singular form includes plural forms unless otherwise specified in the specification. It is noted that " comprises, " or "comprising," as used herein, means the presence or absence of one or more other components, steps, operations, and / Do not exclude the addition.
Hereinafter, an apparatus for preventing vehicle audio theft using encryption according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a vehicle audio anti-theft device using encryption according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As illustrated in FIG. 1, an apparatus for preventing vehicle audio theft using encryption includes an
