Description

Apparatus And Method For Burglary Prevention Of Car Audio Using Encrypting}

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for preventing vehicle audio theft, and more particularly, to an apparatus and method for preventing theft of vehicle audio using a security code.

In general, encrypted vehicle information is stored inside the audio. The anti-theft device compares the vehicle information transmitted from the vehicle with the vehicle information stored in the audio and determines that the audio is stolen if the information does not match. The anti-theft device releases the stolen state, stores a password for confirming authority to store new vehicle information in the audio, and updates the vehicle information and the stolen state by checking the stored password.

Conventional anti-theft devices store vehicle information and passwords in Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) or Electrical Erasible Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM). Due to the nature of FRAM or EEPROM, the information stored here can be copied relatively easily by others. Thus, anyone who knows the password can copy the information stored in the FRAM or EEPROM of the audio, which can disable the encryption function of the anti-theft device.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a vehicle audio anti-theft device and method for preventing the security of media copy security in which security information is stored.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle audio anti-theft device and method for preventing the spread of other audio even if security of certain audio is disabled.

In order to achieve the above object, the vehicle audio anti-theft device using encryption according to an aspect of the present invention includes an encryption unit for encrypting the transmitted vehicle information and the password for authorization to store the vehicle information; Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (FRAM) for storing encrypted vehicle information and password; And a flash memory storing a security code used when encrypting the vehicle information and a password.

According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for preventing vehicle audio theft using encryption, comprising: encrypting a transmitted vehicle information and a password for granting permission to store the vehicle information; And storing encrypted vehicle information and password, and a security code used when encrypting the vehicle information and password.

According to the present invention, there is an effect that can prevent the media copy security in which the security information is stored to be disabled.

In particular, even if the security of certain audio is disabled, it is possible to prevent the spread of other audio.

Advantages and features of the present invention and methods for achieving them will be apparent with reference to the embodiments described below in detail with the accompanying drawings. The present invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art. And is intended to enable a person skilled in the art to readily understand the scope of the invention, and the invention is defined by the claims. It is to be understood that the terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. In the present specification, the singular form includes plural forms unless otherwise specified in the specification. It is noted that " comprises, " or "comprising," as used herein, means the presence or absence of one or more other components, steps, operations, and / Do not exclude the addition.

Hereinafter, an apparatus for preventing vehicle audio theft using encryption according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 1. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a vehicle audio anti-theft device using encryption according to an embodiment of the present invention.

As illustrated in FIG. 1, an apparatus for preventing vehicle audio theft using encryption includes an encryption unit 100, a ferroelectric random access memory (FRAM) 200, and a flash memory 300.

The encryption unit 100 encrypts the vehicle information and the password for granting authority to store the vehicle information. For example, the encryption unit 100 may receive the unique information of the vehicle from the vehicle, and may receive a password for granting authority to store the unique information of the vehicle.

The password may be preset at the factory of the vehicle and may be changed or reset by the user.

The encryption unit 100 encrypts the transmitted vehicle information and the input password using a security code.

The security code is a random number generated differently for each vehicle audio. The security code may be generated at the time of shipment of the vehicle or may be generated through a code generator such as a random number generator according to a user's operation or situation.

The FRAM 200 stores the vehicle information and the password encrypted by the encryption unit 100.

The flash memory 300 stores a security code used when encrypting vehicle information and a password, and blocks the security code from being copied when the stored data is copied.

As described above, security codes used in vehicle information and password encryption are randomly generated so that different codes are stored for each flash memory in the vehicle audio. Therefore, when data stored in the flash memory 300 is copied, the security code is blocked from being copied, so that even if the data stored in the FRAM or flash memory is copied, the security code used at the time of encryption does not match, the anti-theft device is copied The same data is not recognized as the same data. In addition, the security of other audio is not compromised even if the password of a particular audio is leaked and the data stored in the FRAM or flash memory is copied.

Although the configuration of the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the preferred embodiments and the accompanying drawings, this is only an example, and various modifications are possible within the scope without departing from the spirit of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of the present invention should not be limited to the described embodiments, but should be defined not only by the scope of the following claims, but also by the equivalents of the claims.

100: encryption unit 200: FRAM
300 flash memory
