The support block is installed between the horizontally-extended LNG storage tank and the base unit.

Description

Supporting structure for longitudinally extended LNG cargo tank

The present invention relates to a support structure for horizontally extended LNG storage tank, by removing the support skirt and supporting the entire horizontally extended LNG storage tank to the hull through the support block to remove the stress concentration phenomenon applied to the connection portion of the horizontal extension tank portion The horizontal extension LNG storage tank support structure for preventing the rotation of the horizontal extension LNG storage tank by installing a rotation prevention support on the side of the first and second tank.

In general, older LNG storage tanks mounted on LNG carriers should be designed to allow the loading of more LNG within a range that does not interfere with the ship's view.

The LNG storage tank is configured by connecting two hemispherical tanks and expands to install a cylindrical extension between the two hemispherical tanks so that the LNG storage capacity can be increased. It is divided into an extended LNG storage tank and a horizontal extended LNG storage tank.

Conventional horizontally extending LNG storage tank 10 is the first tank portion 11 and the second tank portion 12 and symmetrical to each other and formed in a hemispherical shape, as shown in Figs. Installed between the first and second tanks (11, 12) is made of a horizontal extension tank portion 13 to increase the LNG storage capacity, this horizontal extension LNG storage tank 10 is a support skirt (20) It is fixed to the base portion 40 which is formed concave to the hull through.

The horizontal extension LNG storage tank 10 has a problem that the stress is concentrated due to heat deformation when the horizontal extension tank 13 is contracted, and in order to solve such stress concentration phenomenon, the thickness of the extension portion must be excessively thickened. There is a problem that it is very difficult to apply realistically because the cost of production is increased due to increased production cost.

An object of the present invention for solving the above problems is to remove the support skirt by supporting the entire horizontally extended LNG storage tank through the support block, to reduce the stress concentration phenomenon applied to the connection portion of the horizontal extension tank portion It also provides a horizontally extended LNG storage tank support structure for securing the horizontally extended LNG storage tank by fixing to the hull with a rotation prevention support on the side.

The present invention to achieve the object as described above and to solve the conventional drawbacks, the first and second tank parts symmetrical to each other and formed in a hemispherical shape; A horizontally extended LNG storage tank comprising a horizontally extending tank portion installed between the first and second tank portions to increase the LNG storage capacity; A base portion formed concavely on the hull so that the horizontally extended LNG storage tank can be installed; A support block installed between the horizontally extending LNG storage tank and the base part to support the horizontally extending LNG storage tank; And an anti-rotation support formed at the side center of the first and second tanks to be fixed to the base to prevent rotation of the horizontally extended LNG storage tank.

As described above, according to the present invention, the stress concentration phenomenon occurs in the connection portion of the horizontal extension tank and the first and second tanks by removing the support skirt and supporting the support block in supporting the horizontal extension LNG storage tank. It is a very useful invention to reduce the thickness of the horizontal extension tank to reduce the production cost by reducing the material cost, and to be securely supported and fixed inside the installation through the anti-rotation support.

Hereinafter, the configuration and the operation of the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description of the present invention, a detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted when it may make the subject matter of the present invention rather unclear.

Figure 4 is a perspective view showing the support structure of the horizontally extended LNG storage tank according to the present invention, Figure 5 is a front view showing the support structure of the horizontally extended LNG storage tank according to the present invention, Figure 6 is a horizontally extending LNG storage according to the present invention As a side view showing the support structure of the tank,

According to the present invention, the first tank part 11 and the second tank part 12 and the first tank part 11 and the second tank part 12 are symmetrically left and right and are formed in a hemispherical shape as shown in the drawing. A horizontally extended LNG storage tank 10 consisting of a horizontally extended tank portion 13 having a cylindrical shape installed therebetween so as to increase the LNG storage capacity, and concave on the hull so that the horizontally extended LNG storage tank can be installed. And a support block 30 formed between the base portion 40, the horizontally extended LNG storage tank 10, and the base portion 40 to support the horizontally extended LNG storage tank 10. Is formed in the center of the side of the two tank portion (11) 10 is fixed to the base portion 40 is configured to include a rotation preventing support 33 for preventing the rotation of the horizontally extended LNG storage tank (10).

According to the present invention, as shown in the drawing, the support block 30 is installed in the lower portion of the first tank part 11, the second tank part 12, and the horizontal extension tank part 13 so that the horizontal extension LNG storage tank 10 is provided. By supporting the support skirt can be removed to alleviate the stress concentration phenomenon occurring in the connection portion of the first and second tanks 11, 12 and the horizontal extension tank (13).

As the stress concentration is alleviated, the thickness of the horizontal extension tank 13 may not be excessively increased in the manufacturing of the horizontal extension tank 13, thereby reducing the material cost and reducing the production cost.

Meanwhile, the support block 30 includes a plurality of first support blocks 31 formed to protrude at a predetermined interval on the bottom of the base portion 40 and horizontally extended LNG so as to correspond to the first support blocks 31. It is configured to include a second support block 32 formed in the storage tank (10).

The reason why the first support block and the second support block are divided into the first support block is a hollow steel structure, and the second support block is a solid wood or a structure having similar elasticity. The first support block may also be replaced with the same material as the second support block, but because the inside of the material needs to be filled up, it may be expensive.

Meanwhile, the anti-rotation support 33 is formed to protrude in a '+' shape on the side surfaces of the first and second tank parts 11 and 12, and is horizontally extended by being coupled to the wall part 42 of the base part 40. The LNG storage tank 10 is to prevent the rotation or flow in the base portion 40.

In addition, the wall portion 42 is provided with a groove-shaped installation portion 43 so that the anti-rotation support 33 can be coupled.

On the other hand, since the support block 30 must support the load of the horizontally extended LNG storage tank 10 and also prevent the flow, the outer surfaces of the first and second tanks 11 and 12 and the horizontally extending tank 13 are Accordingly, the installation from the bottom to the center of the side so that the horizontal extension LNG storage tank 10 can be firmly fixed to the interior of the base portion 40 without flowing in the horizontal direction.

As the structure supporting the horizontal storage LNG storage tank through the support skirt as in the prior art, not only the stress of the tank portion, but also the stress of the support skirt portion is significantly increased, so that the tank and the support skirt of excessive thickness must be manufactured, resulting in very low productivity and a significant increase in cost. There is a very difficult problem to apply.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described specific preferred embodiments, and various modifications can be made by any person having ordinary skill in the art without departing from the gist of the present invention claimed in the claims. Of course, such changes will fall within the scope of the claims.
