Synthetic wood is generally very vulnerable to fire because it contains a large amount of wood powder, etc. In order to solve this problem, a conventional method of incorporating an expensive flame retardant, or coating the manufactured synthetic wood with a flame retardant composition in order to solve the problem It was used a lot.

Example 2
Except for replacing the polypropylene resin with a polyethylene resin in Example 1 and impregnated with a water glass coating bath, the same process was repeated to prepare a synthetic wood.
As a result of measuring the flame retardancy of the synthetic wood finally prepared in Examples 1 and 2, it was confirmed that the water glass-coated synthetic wood of the present invention (Examples 1 and 2) has both excellent flame retardancy.
