PURPOSE: An indoor position information system is provided to supply a position information service with high accuracy indoors. CONSTITUTION: At least one position information transmitting device(100) is positioned at a specific position and transmits position information and management information corresponding to the specific position. A position information managing device(200) registers and manages the position information and the management information of the transmitting device. The receiving device calculates the current position information of a target based on the position information and the management information received from at least one position information transmitting device.

Indoor Location Information System

The present invention relates to an indoor location information system.

The present invention is derived from a study conducted as part of the IT source technology development project of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy [Task Management No .: 2008-F-014-02, Title: Study of electromagnetic compatibility for the protection of U-social propagation environment].

The location information system is a system for measuring the position of a moving object using a plurality of GPS satellites (hereinafter referred to as "GPS"). Such a location information system includes a plurality of GPS satellites and a GPS receiver on a geostationary track. The GPS receiver receives a GPS signal including location information from a plurality of GPS satellites, and measures the position of the moving object based on the GPS signal.

However, since it is difficult to receive GPS signals from GPS satellites indoors, there is a problem in that the position cannot be measured in real time. Therefore, recently, a wireless repeater is installed indoors, and a method of measuring a location using indoor location information of the wireless repeater has been used, but there is a practical problem of installing a wireless repeater in various places in a building.

The technical problem to be achieved by the present invention is to provide an indoor location information system that accurately measures the location even in the room.

Referring to FIG. 1, an indoor location information system includes at least one location information transmitting device 100, a location information managing device 200, and a location information receiving device 300.

The at least one location information transmitting device 100 is located at a specific point in the room, and transmits location information corresponding to the location. In this case, the location information may indicate a location at a specific point in the room as location coordinates, but is not limited thereto.

The indoor location information system according to the embodiment of the present invention may be installed at a place designated by national regulations, for example, a location having an emergency light, but not limited thereto. In addition, when the at least one location information transmitting device 100 is in a location where there is an emergency light, for example, management information corresponding to the state of the emergency light may be transmitted.

The location information management apparatus 200 registers and manages location information and management information corresponding to each location information transmitting device 100.

The location information receiving apparatus 300 calculates the current location information of the target based on the location information and the management information received from each location information transmitting device 100.

Conventional location information system can accurately calculate the position coordinates of the target based on the GPS signal outdoors, but it is impossible to track the position of the target in the GPS shadow area or indoors where GPS signals cannot be received.

However, in the indoor location information system according to the embodiment of the present invention, by installing at least one location information transmitting device indoors, the location of the target can be known based on the location information transmitted by the location information transmitting device.

First, the indoor location information system includes at least one location information transmitting device 100, a location information management device 200, and a location information receiving device 300. Referring to FIG. 4, each of the at least one location information transmitting device 100 inputs its own location information and management information to the location information management device 200 (S401). The location information receiving apparatus 300 receives a request for location information of a target from a location information center (not shown) providing a location information service. At this time, the location information receiving apparatus 300 and the location information center communicate using a public network or a dedicated network. Then, the location information receiving apparatus 300 requests the corresponding location information and management information from the at least one location information transmitting device 100 (S402).
