Abstract

The present invention relates to a synthetic resin composition having a metallic texture, characterized in that it comprises a glass bubble (glass bubble) which is a hollow microsphere. Synthetic resin composition of the present invention can remove the weld line (weld line), implement weight reduction and excellent scratch resistance.

Description

Lightweight synthetic resin composition containing metal pigments {A LIGHT-WEIGHT PLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION ADDING METAL PIGMENT}

The present invention relates to a synthetic resin, and more particularly to a synthetic resin composition in which the metallic texture is expressed.

Various methods have been used for imparting high quality such as metal or wood texture to existing synthetic resin compositions. More specifically, in order to express the desired texture in the synthetic resin composition, the method of impregnating the composition and then applying a film, the pressure transfer, inserting the film into the mold and then insert injection bonding, chromium or nickel plating the composition using And coating work using paints in which metal pigments and volatile organic solvents are mixed have been widely used.

However, such a conventional method causes environmental problems such as harmful gases, odors, recyclability, and the like, which are becoming a problem recently. In addition, the injected synthetic resin composition is required to undergo a test step, a washing step, a primer application step, a plating step, a painting step, a drying step, and the like, so that the process is complicated. In addition, the equipment used in the process is expensive, causing a rise in product cost. In addition, a chronic defect such as peeling of the coating film after the operation or the composition distortion during the drying operation occurs.

In order to solve these various problems, a method of adding metal powder and flakes as a pigment has been used at home and abroad. For example, Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2004-0048550 describes a resin molded article expressing metallic texture by adding metallic powder (silver powder or gold powder) in a predetermined ratio to a polyvinyl chloride resin to manufacture a wire protective cover having a metallic color. It is. In addition, Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2004-0082930 describes a composition and a product thereof that express a metal texture by adding a metallic pigment and an ultrafine short fiber together to a synthetic resin composition. U.S. Patent No. 6,143,815 also describes a resin molding formed by mixing a scale brightener of less than 10 to 20 µm in a thermoplastic resin. In addition, US Patent No. 5,530,051 has a patent application for the manufacture of a polyester-based resin molded article comprising a metal microplate by cutting a metal plate.

However, in the conventional metal pigment-added composition, the metal pigment added during the injection molding process is not arranged in a certain direction, but is vertically arranged at a portion where the molten resin is bonded while flowing, so that a weld line is generated. Problem appears. The weld line is free of the movement of the metal pigment particles in the resin at the melting point of the polymer resin, the specific orientation of the particles disappears, and the metal particles having a plate-like form mainly in the bonding portion of the resin in the injection mold is arranged vertically It is known that the dark part of the side surface of the particle appears on the surface of the composition, and unlike other parts, the dark color appears. This phenomenon can also be interpreted as aggregation between the flowable metal particles in the bonding portion of the molten resin.

This weld line is one of the typical molding problems of polymer injection resin by significantly reducing the commercial value of the composition, and mixed with various types of additives such as microfiber glass fiber to solve this problem. Or a significant increase in price.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a synthetic resin composition in which the metallic texture is expressed, which is environmentally friendly, lightweight, and excellent in scratch resistance.

An object of the present invention to provide a synthetic resin composition with improved weld line phenomenon.

The present invention to achieve the above object is a synthetic resin; Metal pigments; And hollow microspheres, specific gravity of 0.1 to 1.0 g / cc, compressive strength of 200 to 20,000 psi, and size of 15 to 150 μm to provide a synthetic resin composition comprising a glass bubble. .

The synthetic resin composition of the present invention blocks harmful substances such as human harmful gases and odors, and is recyclable and environmentally friendly. In addition, the synthetic resin composition of the present invention shows a great effect on cost reduction by reducing the process and investment costs. In addition, the synthetic resin composition of the present invention, the painted synthetic resin composition does not cause defects such as paint peeling or composition distortion after painting. Furthermore, it is possible to improve a phenomenon in which the weld line, which was the biggest disadvantage of the conventional metal-based resin, occurs. In addition, the synthetic resin composition of the present invention can implement a lightweight and excellent scratch resistance. In addition, the synthetic resin composition of the present invention is excellent in workability.
