Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a digital broadcast providing method, and more particularly, to a digital broadcast providing method capable of automatically converting a digital broadcast into an analog broadcast in an environment where reception of the digital broadcast is not easy.
In recent years, the replacement of existing analog broadcasting into digital broadcasting has been actively performed worldwide. For example, in the United States, in June 2009, all TV broadcasts were converted to digital TVs. In Korea, in 2012, all TV broadcasts were converted into digital TV broadcasts. It is pushing. At the present time in this transition process, digital broadcasting is simultaneously provided with existing analog broadcasting, and there exists a digital broadcasting service restricted area where digital broadcasting is not yet provided.
Accordingly, when the digital broadcast service is moved to the restricted area of the digital broadcast service while receiving the digital broadcast, there is a problem that the reception quality of the digital broadcast is degraded and the broadcast reception itself is impossible. In order to solve this problem, a receiver capable of both digital and analog broadcast switching and analog broadcast reception has been proposed.
A conventional digital-analog broadcast switchable receiver processes a digital broadcast signal input from an antenna to extract a broadcast format, stores the broadcast format, and then compares the received digital broadcast signal with a stored broadcast format to receive the received digital broadcast. If the signal duration of the broadcast format does not match, the digital signal processor stops the operation and the analog signal processor is implemented by receiving an analog broadcast.
However, in the case of digital broadcasting, since the broadcasting format is changed from time to time according to the type of digital content, the conventional digital-analog broadcasting switching method has a problem in that digital-analog broadcasting switching cannot be performed smoothly.
The present invention has been made in an effort to provide a digital broadcast providing method capable of automatically converting a digital broadcast into an analog broadcast in an environment where reception of the digital broadcast is not easy.

According to the present invention, even when moving to an environment in which digital broadcasts cannot be received while receiving digital broadcasts, there is an effect that a user can be provided with a service that can seamlessly receive broadcasts by automatically switching to analog broadcasts.
