Description

USB memory device {USB MEMORY APPARATUS}

The present invention relates to a USB memory device, and more particularly, to a USB memory device that can protect the connection terminal of the USB memory device and maximize the ease of carrying and operation.

With the development of memory technology, a small memory that is easy to carry is being used. In general, USB memory is widely used as a portable storage device that can be connected to various host devices employing a universal interface.

Since the USB memory and the host device are connected through a connection terminal, when a foreign material is inserted into the connection terminal or damaged by an external shock, the connection with the host device becomes impossible and input / output of the stored information becomes impossible.

In order to solve this problem, a protective cover for protecting the connection terminal of the USB memory is provided, but since it is inserted into the main body of the USB memory and detachably mounted, a problem of loss may occur during use of the flash memory. If the part becomes loose, there is a problem that the separation is not recognized and does not function as a protective cover.

An object of the present invention is to provide a USB memory device which can protect the connection terminal of the USB memory device and maximize the convenience of carrying and operation.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a USB memory device including: a connection terminal portion connected to a universal interface slot provided in a host device; A main body having one side connected to the connection terminal and accommodating a printed circuit board having a memory for storing data therein and having protrusions formed on a lower surface thereof; A ring part attached to an upper surface of the main body; An opening for accommodating the connection terminal part and the main body therein, an open first guide groove into which the ring part is fitted, and an unopened second guide groove into which protrusions formed on a lower surface of the main body are inserted, And a sliding cover moving along the first and second guide grooves.

According to the present invention, a sliding cover is formed on the USB memory device, and a pen-shaped hook is attached to the sliding cover, so that the main body of the USB memory device can be used as a handle when the main body of the USB memory device is pulled in or pulled out. It can be plugged into a pocket, making it easy to carry and operate a USB memory device.

1 is a perspective view of a USB memory device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 is an exploded perspective view of the USB memory device of Figure 1, Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view of the USB memory device of FIG. 4 shows a top view of the USB memory device of FIG. 1, and FIG. 5 shows a block diagram of the USB memory device according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention.

1 to 4, the mechanical configuration of a USB memory device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described.

The USB memory device 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a connection terminal unit 106 largely connected to a universal interface slot provided in a host device, and a memory partitioned into the connection terminal unit 106 to store data. A first guide into which a main body 104 accommodating a printed circuit board having an inner portion thereof, an opening for accommodating the connection terminal portion 106 and the main body 104 therein, and a pen-shaped hook portion 110 to be fitted therein; A sliding cover 102 that moves along the guide grooves 114A and 114B by forming the grooves 114A and the second guide grooves 114B on which the protrusions 120 formed on the lower surface of the body 104 are fitted. In order to prevent separation between the main body 104 and the sliding cover 102, one end is attached to an upper surface of the main body 104, and the other end passes through the guide groove 114A to allow the sliding cover 102 to be separated. Pen-shaped high located outside of) It consists of a ribu 110.

The sliding cover 102 forms a flange inside the front opening, and the longitudinal length may be greater than the longitudinal length of the connection terminal portion 106 and greater than the longitudinal length of the body 104. .

The pen-shaped ring portion 110 and the protrusion 120 formed on the lower surface of the main body 104 are engaged with the guide grooves 114A and 114B of the sliding cover 102, respectively, so that the sliding cover 102 is provided. The connection terminal 106 is moved between the main body 104 and the sliding cover 102 is prevented from being separated from the main body 104. The pen-shaped ring portion 110 may be configured in a simple ring shape according to the ease of manufacture. In particular, the guide groove 114A is opened to pass through the pen-shaped ring portion 110, and the brace groove 114B is not formed to have a depth enough to fit the protrusion 120.

In addition, the rear of the main body 104 is provided with a display unit 118 that is an LED that emits light when the host device is connected to the connection terminal unit 106 and is supplied with current.

The configuration of the USB memory device 100 according to the present invention described above will be described with reference to FIG. 5. The USB memory device 100 includes a connection terminal unit 106, a control module 200, a memory unit 202, and a display unit 118. The connection terminal unit 106 is connected to the connection slot of the host device, and connects the host device and the control module 200. The control module 200 stores or reads data in the memory unit 202 in response to a request from a host device connected through the connection terminal unit 106. In addition, the control module 200 drives the display unit 118 to guide the connection state when the control module 200 is connected to the host device through the connection terminal unit 106.

As described above, in the present invention, the sliding cover 102 is formed on the USB memory device 100, and the pen-shaped hook 110 is attached to the sliding cover 102 to insert the main body of the USB memory device 100. In addition, by being able to use as a handle at the time of withdrawal, and to be plugged into the pocket like a pen when carrying, thereby making it easy to carry and operate the USB memory device 100.

In addition, the upper end of the pen-shaped ring 110 to put the wrinkles to push or pinch the finger to hold the wrinkles so as not to slip when inserted into or removed from the connection slot of the host device.
